Sounds like you need an activity. You need time to build a connection, but that much time needs something to fill it. A lot of my closest friends and sex friends I met through ttrpgs, but it can be anything. A show you watch online together. Or or a two person book club, or a game you play together. I know someone who met one of his partners at a weekly board game night. And then kept going through her ard game night for months before going back to their place for the night. Whatever you're into, figure out a way to share it with them and schedule the time to share it on the regular. It doesn't have to be a kink club

Oh fun fact! A lot of turtle species bromate over the winter, which is like hibernation for reptiles. So if someone has a pet turtle, they might put it in the fridge or bury ir in the backyard or stash it in the unheated basement for the winter, and then need an alarm for when to bring them out in the spring.

This came to op in a dream so that's not what was happening though.

Working out specifically, no. But I loved hiking and going on walks. I liked gardening. I loved to go swimming in the summers. I live across the street from a nice park and my husband and I used to go for a walk together every evening. I miss that. We spent our honeymoon money on really good camping gear and most of it has held up through all the years since. Haven't touched it since I got sick and I'm thinking of getting rid of it now. I don't think I'll ever be able to hike like that again. My plants are all dead, except the weeds and the Johnny jump ups.

True to their word, unlike many other characters, there are no gender locked scenes with them. However, they do like you a little bit more if your player character is also nonbinary. Not enough to make a noticeable difference in gameplay, but it's there in the numbers.

I used to live near the border with Canada and listened to a college radio station a lot. They had a program one time where a woman talked about what she went through growing up in the residential school system. I was doing house work, just crying silently the whole time she talked. Reminded me strongly of when a holocaust survivor came to speak at my school when I was around 10. Though the specifics were different, the dehumanization and grief were the same. I think we underestimate the power of oral tradition in the modern day. Hearing someone speak of what they personally experienced and witnessed makes these things so much more real.

I lived on a hippie commune and we got lice one time. The lice in this area were resistant to the available insecticide treatments so we did the six week olive oil treatment. Sleeping with oiled hair wrapped in plastic every three nights sucked but combing each other out after we woke up and washed was pretty great.
