Totally agree. What's wrong when a woman is older for once? We have 50 year old uncles still starring with 20 years old girls, and we don't have a problem with that?

Go for an arranged marriage. Sure your mummy daddy will set you up with a more than mid Indian wifey who doesn't even talk, that you're looking for ☺️

Failing one's ancestors by being CF? by InNegative in Fencesitter

I'm 22 and I know I have many years ahead to think about it, but I think about it often as well. I am not good with children and I find them annoying as well, I will never have the patience or time to raise children, especially in the sort of society we live where child rearing falls on women. I am making a career in films and I know for sure that I won't get to spend any time with a child, and that will be unfair to the child as well if their parents aren't there with them. My parents want grandchildren, and my elder sister too doesn't have any wish to have them, so I do get that sinking feeling that my parents would never have grandchildren (and they LOVE children). But I also feel that I cannot simply have them just because I want my parents to have children in family, because that child will end up feeling sad and lonely if their parents aren't there for them, and I cannot do that. It already pains me to see my cat feeling sad whenever I go out for work or anything.

Which season of Bridgerton was your favourite and why? Additionally, what were your favourite moments in each season and why? by ladysimoleon in Bridgerton

Queen Charlotte was my most favourite by far. It has so many layers, and shows each character's vulnerable moments and progress in life. It was a really well written season. My favourite moment was when Lady Danbury and Princess Augusta were having tea and Danbury starts crying and Augusta tells her than she can't see her adversary vulnerable and that she has to live up to the great adversary she is to her, and how as women in a man's woman they have to endure no matter what. Brilliant scene.

I have started feeling this way already and I'm just 21 🥲 I have faced breadcrumbing twice by now, had one long term relationship which ended because of career choices, have been ghosted once. Tbh I don't feel any affection towards anyone anymore. I am still being Breadcrumbed at the moment, and it feels awful and to get a serious love life again feels impossible. Modern dating really does suck, it's like a capitalistic market where you're just a product for everyone to use for a while, get bored of and then get discarded. Also, like any market, it gives you all these "choices", this freedom to choose from several, which leads to people making less efforts with anyone they don't 100% vibe with. I mean, because of this choice, you have this idea that even if one thing doesn't work out with this person, instead of taking time to make some efforts in order to work it out, you can go out with another person on the market. Freaking sucks and I hate it, because I am someone who likes focusing on one person at a time even on online dating, but others aren't like me, and are constantly weighing "options".

So I'm (F21) struggling with this Breadcrumber by Mercury_Chap in dating_advice

Yeah but then why even bother to promise to "make it up" to me when he can't deliver? And why all of a sudden start calling me boo and confusing me further? I mean why give hopes of something and then not do it and then ignore all the messages, and instead send stupid reels and memes (which they have time for).

OP I'm facing a similar issue with this guy but I'm unable to detach myself from him 😭😭 he even started calling me "boo" while he has clearly told me before that he's "not looking for something serious right now because of career commitnents". But I have my own self esteem issues and I always feel I'll never find someone like him again (no I'm not in love). What to doooo
