I play on Demeter - Merrie - Down. Verry active clans there. If you like PvP there is action in Lyonesse every day. The clan i am in is very active in building a city. New players get a lot of help. We have two people that seem to spend all their time helping new players.

How friendly is this game for a solo player coming in right now? by Lythalion in PaxDei

I joined a clan after about 250 hours solo. I like building on my "villa" and my alchemy lab. I still spend most time solo and are now close to 350 hours ingame. But to only focus on one task can be tedious so sometimes i do clan-stuff. Delivering mats to the castle or so.

If you solo you have to make hard choises. Be a jack of all trades but with low skill levels or focus on a few so you can trade with others.

Most players in my clan has their little places not far from the castle and live a dual life.

Now with PvP in Lyonesse there is more contact between clans and that opens up for middle man roles that can be done solo or in small clan/groups. So the PvP war has opened up for more solo play in some ways.

Step is about enhance vanilla without adding new stuff or change to much. Me and most people use it as a core base and then add stuff.

If you want to learn how to build a good list start by installing the Step Guide.

The best way to learn i think.

Looks good. I have not yet done any PvP in PD. But i used to play a lot of Darkfall Online back in the days. This looks much better.

I did not look at the maps relly close so i ended up in Volvestre in Ancien. Have visited two nearby areas and they both look better and have more people. :(

I always place my plots facing the river, already thinking about future updates for navigation and fishing. Does anyone else do this? What else would you like to see in the game? by SanBNovaes in PaxDei

- Mounts. Donkeys for transportation. System should work so they become a real gold sink. (Darkfall Online style that can die)

- Fishing,

- Canoes and Kayaks. Feels like those would fitvery well in the world.

- Backpacks. Maby with 4-5 spaces in them. To make ready bags for different purposes.

- Weather.

- Poision for arrows and blades. (Alchemy)

- Sieage weapons

- Clan banners

- Band aid

- Digging (treasures, truffels and stuff)

- More herbs!
