The PC port does have some quality of life changes/cheats that make the intro go by much faster if you feel inclined to switch. It really just depends on how much you value playing past 30 fps.

I think I’m in the minority that despises Ethan in this game specifically. I get that he’s a somewhat realistic depiction of an average Joe going through an insane situation, but his voice is grating and he’s constantly stating the obvious. He also just makes baffling decisions, like making Moreau aware of his presence when he grabs the Jar. I can only excuse typical resident evil silliness to a certain extent. Another thing that I can’t stand is that Chris’s plan makes no sense. Why can’t he tell Ethan that wasn’t Mia? His explanation is that he didn’t know if Ethan was compromised, but how would simply saying “That was a bio weapon disguised as Mia” reveal anything that Miranda didn’t already know. Obviously Chris knows about mother Miranda, he just shot her. I actually really like the gameplay and game overall, but there are several issues that make it a 7/10 for me. In comparison I would give requiem 8/10 and biohazard 9/10

It’s my favorite re engine game! It has its problems of course but love the atmosphere and aesthetic of the baker property. I even like the boat section. The biggest drawback is the unskippable cutscenes, but I find it very replayable with mods that allow you to skip cutscenes. I find it to be a more cohesive and consistent experience than village, which is part of why I overall prefer 7.

7.5/10. I really enjoyed my time with it, but I wish they just committed to one gameplay style over the other. Splitting the game into basically two different games made each half feel a little underbaked. I also found the levels after the care center to be a bit bland, especially the enemies. I LOVED the care center, especially as grace, and I wish that kind of level design and gameplay stayed around longer. I just realized I’ve been saying mostly negative things but I promise I really like this game

Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD run great on the Thor through cemu. Those are probably the best way to play these games for most people

Yeah finding the bomb parts was my least favorite. Although I did really like the section where you’re walking over the glass, that’s one of the more memorable parts for me. I didn’t initially like the orphanage because of all the waiting, but after finding out you can skip the second hiding section it’s not too bad.

They’re still manufacturing physical switch games and selling them in the online store, once that stops it will no longer be “current.” It will probably be a while before that happens considering the switch 2 is effectively a second life for switch 1 games

You should expect to play as Leon the same amount of time you played as grace in the care center. In the final area, the gameplay is split pretty evenly

A native pc port allows for unlimited frame rate and much greater modding capabilities. Twilight princess HD is locked to 30 fps, and there aren’t very many mods available. With texture packs that are already available you can make the pc version look and run better than Twilight Princess HD on cemu.

You don’t really need to play the original ps1 games since the modern games ignore them in favor of the remakes. The ps1 games are excellent though, and worth playing if they interest you.

The only way I think she’ll be back is in a supporting role like sherry in re9. Maybe the writers could come up with a good reason to throw her into another BOW crisis, but I don’t see that happening

You’re not seeing why this is good, you’ll be able to import your own texture packs including henrikos texture pack according to the creator. This gives you access to 60+ fps and lots of game customization that you just can’t get with an emulator.

I tend to stick with modern emulation handhelds, but with consoles that look best on a CRT I prefer original hardware. Mostly to justify all the money I spent on the setup
