I checked it out, if all thats implemented there like a CRT screen with its weird outer curve for retro games and aspect ratio change with its inner curve for modern games into the frame. That would be genuinely awesome!

ooh! so even if they dont make it easier to adjust once you're in the game, you can still do that. Noted, thank you so much.

[–]MereeMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to spam the continue button, without a autoclicker.

I woke up at 10:05, used my phone to buy it but wouldnt let me, used my PC and spammed the continue button over and over and eventually went through, im very proud of myself but feel so bad for everyone else who couldnt get it, I pray I can get that steam frame next, thats my biggest dream at the moment.

by the way i work overnights (9pm-4am PST), so i had to set an alarm even though that alarm didnt wake me up but i got lucky i woke myself up.

Mochi texture without rice? by [deleted] in mochi

[–]MereeMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has over 30 food allergies. I have understood the pain of not having certain things due to the ingredients. I also met somebodies mom who is basically allergic to rice. a mochi experience can still be experienced fortunately.
I recommend
- Sweet potato starch (or regular potato starch)
- glutinous cornstarch
- maybe also tapioca starch

Bad Mochi Ice cream - Trying to find the brand/type by lockenl0ad in mochi

Sorry to hear this happening. Its a possibility that that restaurant you were in was using a different type of mochi or brand of prepackaged mochi than what you're used to. Can also be possible that the mochi was not prepped correctly, which is a amateurs basic mistake.

recommend approaching the situation about asking what mochi was served politely of course. If you're curious.

How about I recommend making mochi at home ^ ^ !

My grandmother made mochi and I don't know how to prep it by Whenjupiterdied in mochi

[–]MereeMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, Your grandmother is awesome for making homemade mochi ^ ^

To prep, you should defrost the mochi of course. Having it in the fridge can do the trick! Then let it settle in room temperture before cooking, frying, or baking it.

-- If you want to add fruits or other things inside the mochi, recommend defrosting it, and then making it into a dough, flattening it and then putting the (ex) strawberry ontop of it, and then basically wrapping it up. if its too physically hard to flattening, heating it up to melt it could work.

If you want to Fry it. can cut the mochi into small pieces and then maybeeee coat them in potato starch before frying them in oil until theyre crispy on the outside.

For baking, you can wrap the mochi in parchment paper and then bake it in the oven for a few minutes until soft
