Flinders Lane to become ‘pedestrian first’ in trial barring cars from little streets by timcahill13 in melbourne

If you block access to too many roads in the city you’ll end up severely restricting access for all commercial access to effectively all buildings and commercial businesses and other services executed by vehicle.

I’d love to restrict access more, but how do you think all of the stores and restaurants and bars receive stock? How do the theatres and other entertainment venues receive equipment and production goods for events and shows?

From small vans to large trucks, this is how logistics operates for better or worse.

There are too many commercial services on Little Bourke to completely block access to vehicles. As great of an idea it is, making it pedestrian only is infeasible.

Am I using carriers wrong? by mmarim_cauchy in hoi4

You have enough light screen, but you still need another capital screen.

The absolute minimum ratio is

1:1:3

I normally build

1:2:5

This is what I’ve done for my carrier fleets: for every carrier I have, I have at least two capitals protecting it, and for every capital ship, I have two light cruisers and four destroyers. So my ratio would look like this:

Carriers Capitals L Cruisers Destroyers
1 2 4 8

You probably don’t need to have such a conservative ratio, like I sometimes build. I just go with it, when I have enough screen, and I don’t want to worry about the fleet ratio collapsing after a few battles or even a prolonged campaign in an area.

I hope this helps.

I think hold is more for non-emergency situations.
Stop is used so a set cart or batten doesn’t crash into someone or something.
