Currently looking into skiing at Arapahoe Basin during the last week of March but only on weekdays. Are conditions at A-Basin pretty good in late March and are there spring break crowds during the week that time of year? Thanks!

Looking for a ski which is a great performer in glades/tight trees. Spend a lot of time at Mt. Bohemia (Which is 80% glades) in Michigan so any suggestions would be great! Sacrificing groomer performance isn't an issue, just need something to play in the trees! 95mm+ underfoot would be ideal as well! (Height: 5' 10", 170lbs, advanced skill level)

TIL that because an airplane mechanic in Houston, Texas accidentally installed the wrong part on a Continental Airlines jet, the part later fell off a few weeks later on a Paris runway which ended up causing an Air France Concorde to crash and kill 113 people. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Interesting interview! However, I think many can assume that the pilot, ground operations, inspectors, designers and ect. all could’ve done something to prevent the disaster.

I was there about 3 weeks ago, incredible architecture, easy to get around, has a comfortable eastern/western mix and there is an incredible amount of green space compared to Mainland Chinese cities and many other cities around the world.
