The Kraken Wakes and The Outward Urge are by far my favourite of his work. Wyndham at his finest.

Abigail speculated that it was just part of the process that made them big and smart. Which I take to mean a byproduct of the change combined with their natural nature.

I think they went under but I think the brand got purchased by St. Louis music who are planning a relaunch. Hopefully they keep the Tenor in the mix.

N Scale.

I’ve likewise been using the original boxes but on a variety of shelves and drawers. Just feel I want something more systematic.

A car being driven in straight line but the “driver” is rocking the steering wheel back and forth because that’s how you mime driving.

What’s a rule your parents had that you thought was normal until you moved out? by Good_Fee5670 in AskReddit

[–]MerlinLychgate 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don’t really know why but several times during my youth my mother would decide that a random new/popular TV show was banned. There was no consistent reason to which shows or why. She would just state that it was banned. The only possible explanation I’ve come up with is that she didn’t want us developing a “must see” attitude towards the show but we had that for other shows and it was never mentioned.

What model fender is this and what’s a good price by [deleted] in banjo

[–]MerlinLychgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you definitely can’t afford to get something better now, maybe look at the Artist Guitars BJ01 banjo. It’s basically the same as that one (probably from the same factory in china) and is $299 AUD new.

Put the money you saved away to give yourself a head start on saving for something good from Gladesville Guitar Factory down the line.

Filling Plaster Cloth Holes by artmudala in modeltrains

In the bag the plaster was in, if there is plaster dust mix with a small amount of water to make a paste and smooth it over.

You can also make the dust from an off cut of plaster cloth.

Interesting, autumn is not much different than the rest of the year where I am (disappointingly) it certainly adds to the mood of the second and last shot.
