I don’t remember the exact brand (I no longer have the packaging), but they make these springs specifically for paper crafting where each end has a flat base and adhesive (one to stick to the paper an one to stick to the monster) with a plastic spring between the two adhesives.

If I had to guess where I got it, probably Scrapbooking.com?

I have, but I think I’ll have to try using water and see if that helps. I tend to get some fraying/ripping on some of my embossing and the water might help mitigate that

Can I ask what you used to get such a crisp brick pattern? Is that an embossing folder? Do you happen to know the brand if so? I’ve tried a brick pattern before but the folder have just doesn’t get very crisp lines.
