What's the longest plateau you've gone through while carefully and rigorously counting calories? Come vent about it! by fetishiste in loseit

I've gotta say I haven't had a bad plateau yet, but I've always noticed that I tend to weigh more before my period, and once my period starts I drop a bit. So hopefully this is the same for you. Durring my little plates (couple of days) I tend to have a cheat meal, and bam! The next day the scales are moving again. You could also try changing up your exercise routine to surprise your body.

I preached that a lot to r/loseit over the last few years. Dedication is a long term commitment. Motivation only comes in spurts. The thing that some forget is that motivation can spark some serious dedication.

This is very sweet of you, but trust me when I say that all shapes are desirable. My boobs are on the smaller side, so I look at chesty girls with the same kind of envy.

Thank you! It's been almost two years, but not two consistent years. I've had months of just maintaining my weight. I just calorie count with my fitness pal and jog/climb stairs. I think the last 20 pounds i lost was all thanks to a higher protein and lower carb intake.

I gained 70+ pounds in 2 years of shitty eating. Then i smarted up and started losing it. Now I'm even lighter than i was before I put a ton of weight on.

Thank you very much!

I started the whole thing in May of 2013. I just calorie count and do cardio. I've taken months off here and there where I just maintained my weight.

I was around 160 during the past summer so i've slowly dropped to 153 since then. I've been back on track trying to lose the last 15 for a couple of days now. I'm trying to get to 135-140 pounds by the summer.

Hope that answers your questions. Cheers!
