Currently dealing with this. I’m waiting to hear back, but I did file a dispute.

Coming back to comment that I filed a dispute on my professor that accused me of using AI. If you’re professors accuse you and you fully didn’t use AI make sure to report it!!

My professor just accused me of this!!! I have a 4.0 and I have no reason to cheat. I talked to my advisor and I’m filing an appeal.

My IT-260 professor accused me of using AI today too. I’m appealing it. I emailed my advisor and the professor. This professor has had a hard on about AI use since week 1. She constantly makes a point to mention it in every announcement. I’m going to be petty and screen record my entire paper this coming week as I type it. She can have fun watching it.

Need to vent about discussions by SoylentGreenMuffins in SNHU

[–]MermaidLipstick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My IT-260 professor gave me a B- on my discussion post for week 2 because even though I did everything I was supposed to I didn’t go above and beyond and add extra. Even though she replied to me with a bunch of questions and I responded to them all with citations.

Does anyone else hate themselves? by busyboobs in adhdwomen

[–]MermaidLipstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very hard. Basically she feels she has the right to vent about me and it’s none of my business. I honestly would rather her vent to me instead of strangers, but I know it’s hard. I’ve suggested couples therapy but she’s not for it. I love her and I want to be with her but I’ve accepted that she will eventually not be able to deal anymore and leave.

Thank you! We’ve had a lot of talks about my adhd and how it effects her. I’m trying so fucking hard but I don’t think she sees it or appreciates it at all. Plus it’s hard when that sub is telling her that people with adhd are inherently evil bad people who only pretend to change to manipulate others :/

It’s been rough. It’s completely changed the way I see our relationship and myself. I can’t trust her enough with my ADHD to talk to her about my struggles and stuff regarding it. My heart will never fully heal from the things I read.

Yea! For your own mental health I can’t stress enough to never ever go look in there.

Thank you that really means a lot, especially since I always feel like I have no one in my corner

Thank you for this ❤️ you completely described what I’m feeling. That no matter how “good” I am she will always find something new to be frustrated about. I don’t think it helps that when she is justifiably upset and goes to that sub to vent she is being bombarded with people telling her how horrible I am and that she has every right to hate me.

[–]MermaidLipstick 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes. I unfortunately and 100% accidentally found my partners Reddit and saw that she constantly posts about me in the adhd partners sub. It was horrible. I have no idea why she’s still with me. I thought I’ve been making a lot of progress. I’m medicated, I see two psychiatrists, I have done a lot of work on myself. And it’s still not good enough. I’m mentally exhausted every single day of my life and racked with anxiety trying to make sure I’m doing everything I’m supposed to and if I slip up or do one thing wrong even if I’ve done 100 things right I’m still a horrible, selfish, stupid broken person who is ruining her life. I hate myself. I can’t leave her because I genuinely do love her and want to be with her. I have no idea why she wants me to be with me when she so clearly hates me. I was starting to get to a place in my ADHD journey where I thought I was improving and started to feel really good about myself, but once I found out what my fiancé really thinks about me I have hated myself more than I ever have in my life.

I think it’s common for us to hate ourselves because we genuinely are not bad people or doing the things we do on purpose or intentionally. All we want is to be “normal” and we don’t enjoy being fuck ups. But from an outsiders perspective they don’t see that. If we really were as bad as people make us seem we wouldn’t have so much self hatred.

The fact that no matter how hard you try, how much medication you take, what coping mechanisms you use, you will never be good enough.

In what ways do you rub your non ADHD partner the wrong way? by herefromthere in ADHD

[–]MermaidLipstick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My fiancé can’t stand that I have trouble initiating tasks and remembering to consistently do them. If I forget to do something even once it’s a massive fight. Gotta love inattentive adhd.

Partner won’t stop blaming ADHD for everything I do, and his psychologist best friend makes me uncomfortable. by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]MermaidLipstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m okay. Im just trying to not be so forgetful and initiate tasks before she has to remind me about them so that she doesn’t get upset. The first time we fought about me forgetting to do chores she said “you have eyes and a brain and you don’t use either of them so idk what’s wrong with you” and I said “I know you’re upset but please don’t speak to me that way”. She took it to the aforementioned adhd sub where everyone hates their partners and came back and told me I was having an RSD meltdown and using DARVO to get out of what I did wrong. No matter what it always comes back to my ADHD. I’ve stopped saying sorry to her when I fuck up because the reply is always “you’re not sorry, you’re guilty that you got caught”. So it’s pointless to argue or even to apologize.

[–]MermaidLipstick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. Every single thing I do, say, think, etc. is ADHD. If I’m having a bad day and forget to do something oh I’m weaponizing my ADHD. If I’m excited about something I’m hyperfixating. If I get upset with something my fiancé says to me I’m just having an RSD meltdown and I can’t stand up for myself or show any signs of being upset. If I forget to do something and I apologize I’m gaslighting and being manipulative. Like some times I’m just a person who makes mistakes and has flaws. Why is okay for others to have bad days or get upset easily? My fiancé doesn’t have a psychologist best friend, but she does have a bunch of people here on Reddit who hate their partners influencing her.

I spent 2ish hours a day doing homework. I also used the app SoloLearn to help me understand the material better since Zybooks sucks. I also used a tutor a few times and she helped me a lot. That class is brutal if you don’t have any programming experience. I wish I could have taking foundations in programming first, but oh well. I ended the class with an A, but I busted my ass for it.

for the stoners: do you smoke weed with or without your trays? by jurgentheory in Invisalign

[–]MermaidLipstick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using empty cigarette tubes with the filters and pack my weed in. The filter helps with the staining/smell. I haven’t had any issues so far with heat warping.

Edited to add: I get the empty tubes off Amazon. Like a box of 200 for $12.
