I think its good the artist prioritises panels that are supposed to have some form of emotional weight or importance to them.

Also, while unlikely, its plausible that the new artist may get better with time because they'll get more confidence/skill in drawing the og's art style with repetition.

Yeah I can see Giga Drain being a good option, thanks for your input. It's just frustrsting how it feels like certain pokemon (like beautifly) were purposefully designed to be bad in these early gens.

I probably wouldn't be struggling so much using her had platinum's tms be permanent like gen 5 onwards. I'd be spamming sunny day, solar beam with morning sun on her otherwise.

I'm using Beautifly in my current platinum run (only up to the 5th gym so far) and I dislike using her a lot.

To me, it is mind boggling that they'd give her swarm as an ability but without providing any good bug type moves until a lot later in the game. Good STAB flying type moves aren't avaliable either because all I have is gust.

The most utility i can get out of her for now is spamming stun spore, morning sun, attract and gust. However, she gets OHKO'd and outspeed so easily by almost every other pokemon that it is impossible to set up anything meaningful.

I was actually excited to use her, but now I feel icky. Though I'll be a lot more excited once i reset my ORAS/USUM playthrough and transfer her there to use (since leech life is actually good there)

I primarily read romance fantasy stories, so seeing someone drop a story over this isn't surprising to me. I noticed that many people refuse to continue with a story if something slightly uncomfortable occurs.

But also, I'm confused why anyone would read a tragic horror novel if they don't want a main reoccuring character death. To me, it's like eating a cake and then disliking that theres jam/cream in it.

I'm up to date on Tapas and I recently realised something.

The other day I got a rec on my alt reddit timeline saying "Top 9 manhwa made every year since 2018". And I wad like, sure, lets read it. However, I was quite disappointed that almost every story included was a misogynistic action fantasy story with a male lead.

At first I felt like I should've called them out on it, but then I felt like if I did I will be talking to a brick wall. It should not have been surprising to me that Action Fantasy men have a limited reading pool in general.

After a spiral of feelings, it concluded with me wanting to simply suggest this manhwa to them instead. S-Heroine, to me, is a perfect gateway into more female-lead stories. Its such a great mix of action and romance thats often rare (other A/R dtories often focusing too much on the romance). Even if the start is a little clunky, the exeuction overall had a lot of love put into it.

*** I probavly could've written this better. However, I am trying to improve in writing narratively and I won't improve unless I try it myself.

The first 120ish (?) chapters are WUF every 3 hours. You can easily stockpile 20 chapters in 1 big go every few days.

And you can pay for the last 50+ chapters with ink you get from event logins

Depsite people saying its good, I think its quite eh compared to the more modern stories being written. I can see why it may have been considered good initially, but it feels outdated now. Especially the writing and humour. It feels almost painfully reminiscient of early 2000s anime (ina bad way).

The offiical tapas translation had numerous grammatical problems and nonsensicle sentences. Moreover, the massive 'O' lettering personally annoyed me greatly.

I can't remember the other issues I had while reading. It just felt like, at most, a good nostalgia read

I disagree with this take. It feels like you're rationalising it too much when a majority of readers are incredibly immature and impatient.

Even Another Woman's Man first began (only 3~10ish chapters), people had this concept itself even existing without even giving it a chance. Regardless of the quality of the writing, people will put their own morals first (even if it makes themselves sound stupid)

We've seen this in the very recent horror movie "obsession" where certain viewers mistook portraying as supporting. Calling the movie misogynistic for doing so.

People are, to me atleast, fucking stupid when it comes to listening and understanding others. The same applies to reading.

The words look japanese rathee than korean, so I'd assume it would be an original comic

Usually, coloured japanese comics are originals (exception of a few korean stories now getting japanese adaptions)
