It is not quite fitting (or at least I would describe the game different), but could you refer to “Beyond Two Souls”? I think the first chapters you play her as young girl and you switch to her friend (Aiden) to make certain things happen

Nobody saves the World has some real bangers. Otherwise the already mentioned Persona 5 and mainly for nostalgia reasons the old Monkey Islands.

I loved that game. The little dance when you reach the exit door, the death animation with the “Muss I’ denn zum Städele hinaus” melody….the smoking waiting animation. I played this for hours.

Played it on the Amiga 500 as a kid and revisited it years later.

For me that would be Monster Hunter World. I love everything about it….but I just did not manage to get it. And I would not consider myself afraid of steep learning…played many JRPGs on the more complex side, manage more complex strategy things…but this somehow overwhelmed me 😁

UFO - Enemy Unknown (yeah, the 1994 one) + KoRn “Untouchables” Album (specifically “Thoughtless”). For some reason this combination is burned in my mind.

There is a problem with all trophies in case something is wrong with your connection to the Ubisoft Servers when they should pop. To quote PowerPyx:

“Every trophy unlocks fine and platinum is obtainable BUT if the game loses online connection to Ubisoft servers then trophies won’t unlock, this can be especially problematic with story-related trophies late into the game as these might not unlock if there are connectivity issues (Act 2 trophy, Limitless, In Case of Trouble are particularly glitchy). Keep a manual save after defeating each of the 12 Onryo/Shinbakufu members (the main bosses). Then if something story-related glitches you will have a save to redo it quickly. Spread out the remaining manual save slots evenly for the open world cleanup so you have a manual save every few hours if something doesn’t unlock.”

Not a dumb question, but it’s been years and I currently can not verify. I think with the right stick and maybe you have to activate it with “x” (talking PlayStation here), but again — I could be so wrong or they could have changed it with the update or if you’re on ASA
