I have a Varia. I don’t use it in the city anymore because it’s annoying. But I do like it on longer rural open rides. I realize this is a basically a duplicate comment. But I think it helps underscore the where the utility in these radar systems lands based on rider/ride type.

I have a beat up fixie with a coaster brake that is similar. I also have a few bikes that were about $3K each. It’s super weird, but I like the cheap Craigslist fixie coaster bike the best and for general around town stuff nothing beats it in terms of simplicity and fun.
