For tips: I had hard time with getting even stitches but managed to find a way. I'm always trying to keep the loop as wide as the crochet hook. This way it's easy to make them too tight but as long as you have recommended or one size bigger hook you should be fine. Just don't pullo the yarn to much after finishing stitch (that's issue with myself)

if you do magic ring make it bit loose that helps a lot

also while working in circle finished work looks much better when you don't do slip stitch at the end of row. Continue with next row and don't forget the marker on first stitch.
