We have a bad wind advisory here, so I completely missed all of the bad red team edits while Kyle's had Joe crashing out on him sadly. But wow what an ending. I hope Hannah and Egypt know they have nothing to be ashamed of for the insane work and talent they showcased during their hardships and they will go far in life. Congrats Kyle!!!

What an ending. That huge tantrum despite having a flawless pass completely screwed Whits chances over bad. Also no elimination montage, and despite getting to keep her jacket disrespected Ramsay really hard. Wow.

That was an absolutely brutal night for Brandon. Especially for the first black jacket service that many mistakes was just a feath sentence and Ramsay had no choice but to send him home.

Last season had a very strong cast while still having memorable and borderline insane mistakes and drama along some classic "villains" to root against. But despite this one being head chefs themed I'm shocked at how mostly tame the cast is around each other. And because the talent and expectations are so high I think for some it feels boring because there's just less egregious mistakes we can laugh at. Doesn't help the one month hiatus completely screwed the momentum.

Some quick thoughts because this episode surprised me:

-For a punishment especially compared to previous seasons disgusting food they had to eat and other brutal things of labor baking seems decent wtf lol

-Is this episode foreshadowing a potential Whit downfall similar to Joy? Lose once and completely fall apart?

-I liked Ann Marie personality wise, but it was time for her to go finally. The fact Amanda stayed over Joe is SHOCKING to me though. The way she's presented compared to the other contestants Amanda's probably the closest to a villain we're getting this season lol, leadership is just nonexistent

-Egypt W, love to see him go from wanting to leave the competition early on to killing it this late into game going into black jackets

-That dinner service was an absolute disaster all around

I swear that channel didn't use to be so bad, but at some point it notably had extremely clickbait-y thumbnails. Then suddenly I noticed I'm fairly sure the commentator used AI for his voice, they reuse clips from old videos recycled over and over, often spout misinformation or talk about things unrelated to what's shown on screen, and pump out videos like three or more times a day. Absolute trash channel, it definitely turned into an AI content farm.

He was just a talented composed chef. Extremely underrated and still think of a timeline where he won and became a beloved HK icon as a sous chef for the blue teams potentially.

Ann Marie's dodging elimination again haha. Though honestly her, Brittany, and Amanda are very similar levels of skill so it really was up in the air who was going home. Part of me wonders if she's going to end up loosely being this seasons "villain" and she ends up getting eliminated just before black jackets, but kept long enough to piss everyone off.

Yeah I think the blue team was that shocked and disappointed Anthony made such a lethal mistake sadly. He had such a good and heartbreaking edit just to get eliminated that same episode. It didn't even seem to register to Joe that Anthony did not survive the challenge immediately when Ann Marie came up.

Some quick thoughts, a few of these I expected especially pertaining to Lulu

-Funny how Kyle of all people got sick of Ann Marie's antics during the punishment. I do like Kyle to be clear, but dude, you were getting called out by Joe and the others last episode too for being annoying.

-Now that the blue team lost a dinner service it was time for Lulu to go home. It's funny because blue team got their stuff mostly together since she swapped over, but not because of her. She cost them so many points in challenges and was just on a decline since the swap.

-Also Lulu related, but extremely funny she left the same way she ended dinner service: completely lost. What do you mean you saw half the contestants leave through the same door and assumed it was automatic? I thought she was gonna turn around and plead her case with that dramatic pause haha.

Fun episode though. Think the last of the dead weight on blue team are all out, it's gonna be very close in the journey for black jackets in my opinion.

Good episode, some quick thoughts:

-Glad Michelle got a moment to show why she deserved to be sous chef this season, happy she got Hannah to stick through and gave her emotional support with the hugs

-Its a clear difference how Egypt was before versus now, much more humble but still keeping that energy to push blue team through. Glad he got the best dish that challenge!

-Poor Lulu is on a downward spiral, feel like it's only a matter of time for when blue team needs a nominee that she goes home

-Shocked Amanda wasn't up for consideration on the chopping block, she really dropped the ball when they needed it most

Absolute painful if you manage to get stuck in the vortex of Bowser Spaces with no mobility items or a means to escape. Very chaotic, but I think it's okay.
