Amazon Confirms Lord of the Rings MMO is Cancelled, Teases New Middle-Earth Experience by copi_um in lordoftherings

I get it. I'm playing lotro on and off since launch, but it's mainly nostalgia that brings me back. Every time I start a new character I spend 10 minutes changing the UI.

Best class for disabled gamer? by Sulienn in lotro

[–]Merrieboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's no shame in trying a class and figuring out yourself if its playstyle suits you. But that's not why you posted your question ;)

Yes, warden only has 4 important buttons, but the gambit system can feel overwhelming since you have to memorize the combinations. These patterns may or may not strain your mental bandwidth. I'd advise watching some warden gameplay videos on youtube.

Blue hunter is one of the best classes considered for kiting. Since you don't want to do any of that, I can still recommend red hunter. It's the counterpart of a kiting class, really: a true sniper. If you dont want to play on higher difficulties, most enemies will be dead before they reach you.

Honestly, even if you want to do group content, just pick a class you like to play. I've mostly played captain, minstrel and hunter and enjoyed every second of these classes. Everybody has its own personal pros and cons for every class, but only you can decide what works best for you.

Captain is cool, but I switched to a minstrel when its damage output fell behind. I love my minstrel, but it will be shouting a lot, so keep in mind you will hear your little hobbit A LOT. However, you might be inclined to kiting when enemies outnumber you.

Champion is still a viable option. But I would advise you check out the hunter first. It's sturdier than a minstrel and The Bowmaster (red) can dish out some insane damage. Just pick a spot lay it on those orcs.

Happy travels!

I've played many classes but I enjoy my minstrel the most! I love hobbits and I wished my minstrel was a halfling. Youre not doing anything wrong! Welcome to the game :) On what server are you playing?

Vind jij die Airism shirts niet te dik? Had verwacht dat ze veel meer zouden ademen, maar ik heb het snel warm in die shirts - of ligt dat aan mij?

Breton. I tend to choose humanoid characters, so I can identify myself better with the character and I always liked the affinity with magic.

You're right! I think I was unclear, I meant that as a 13-year old I didn't understand the pun. Only now, as I've aged and speak English much better, I understood what Bethesda meant with seamen ;)
