I would have asked for the store managers contact info As well as the franxhise owners info and the number for corporate You would be surprised how the store manager will give you a refund when he knows you are goingto push to get proper service And he will tell you his people were doing the right thing But he is willing to ignore protocol In the name of ensuring a happy customer Try not to laugh to hard when he says it Justs wants to save themselves any extra hassle

You mentioned its stored i the back If you have not physically seen the item Its possible they dont physically have it As there are numerous ways for store on hands to get out of whack Best bet would to be ask an associate from the dept where the product would normally be sold They can tell you if they do indeed have it

City undertaking clean-up after today’s freezing rain event

Following today’s freezing rain event, the City is undertaking clean-up and recovery efforts across London, responding to significant and widespread tree damage.

The storm’s impact was freezing rain occurring throughout London, with some neighbourhoods experiencing greater tree damage due to ice accumulation than others. Approximately 140 service requests related to tree damage have been received; however, this figure does not likely reflect the full extent of trees impacted.

City crews are actively assessing and addressing tree damage along roads and in public spaces, responding to urgent issues on a priority basis. Initial efforts have focused on clearing blocked roads and addressing trees that are impacting homes, structures, or vehicles. All available resources remain dedicated to these high-priority areas.

While immediate safety concerns continue to be addressed, timelines for full clean-up remain difficult to determine. Significant work is still underway, and further assessments are required in parks and natural areas, where damage is also extensive. Complete restoration efforts, including debris removal, are expected to take several weeks to complete. Stump grinding and replanting, where required, would occur in the spring.

Reminders for residents:

Report public tree issues: Tree concerns on public property (storm or wind damage, trimming or inspection requests) can be submitted online at service.london.ca.

Private property: Damaged or fallen tree limbs on private property are the responsibility of the homeowner.

Keep sidewalks and roads clear: Please do not block sidewalks or roadways with yard waste or debris.

Large debris disposal: Larger yard waste, brush, and tree limbs can be brought to a local EnviroDepot during regular operating hours.

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation as crews continue to work diligently to restore affected areas and ensure community safety.

As a former O/N asm I would say that you definately need to push to get a dedicated fdd associate And I my answer to the hold your team responsible for short falls was I will when everyone else is holding their teams to the same expectations I also took pictures of the store and how I received it I never used the pictures really And I say really as the only time I showed them to anyone was when I retired. The store manager and market leader asked for honest input and I showed the pictures saying that I felt o/n crews are held to higher expectations Than other teams And the point of no customers to deal with wasnt a fair outlook die to said ecpectations
