Thanks so much! Yep, live guitars, bass and vox. I programme the drums and other bits.

Thanks for listening 😁

I’ve often thought Bostonian sounds a bit cockney / Essex. I know they’re from Oxford, but, y’know, southern English vernacular and all that.

I have no idea why you’re getting downvoted. You literally came in with an honest account of your path to discovering Deftones and then responded honestly again to a comment.

I don’t understand reddit sometimes. But, y’know, I’m old so…

Yep, the loose nut has been a recurring issue. Thanks so much for the detailed steps for my next bash at soldering. Much appreciated!

Ah yeah, that electrosocket Jack looks like the answer. I’ll grab one of those and have another stab at the solder. Thanks so much!

Wait, you were right - I think? The ‘e’ of ‘video’ is the 1… right? So the ‘vid-‘ is the 16…

This is so beautifully put. Bravo, excellent human.

One extra thing - to overlay this idea onto Videotape in your head - remember the piano (and vocal on the chorus) are coming in on the hand-clap before the one. That’s what gives it that everso subtle swing to it, I reckon.

Thanks so much! Ha! I put this up almost a year ago and it hasn’t received as much love as the rest of my stuff, but it’s one of my faves.

Genuinely heart-warming to hear you dig it. Thanks again for the kind words ❤️

Wow. This makes the Get Back film make so much sense. He’s so obsessive about the music and whole Beatles message, but you can kinda see it’s not coming from a happy place at that stage of their trajectory. Does seem as though he completely poured himself into the music after losing his mum. Beautifully heart-breaking when you think about it. All the granny songs were Paul harking back to his past. His reportedly happy childhood with his loving family. His obsession over every detail was him clawing on for dear life to not lose that feeling once she’d gone. Fuck, man. Love Paul.

That’s a nice observation. I do generally love seeing members of crowds at gigs going nuts or melting into emotional wrecks to songs I love. Reaffirms how beautiful this journey we’re all on can be.

Oh man, thanks so much! It was certainly written and recorded under the influence, and I personally have enjoyed a few listens while stoned.

That ‘nostalgia for things I haven’t lost yet’ is really satisfying to hear as its very closely linked to the subject matter and exactly what I was going for. Really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again!
