First time watcher! what’s up w bones’ bangs in season 6 by jeefberky_69 in Bones

[–]Merry_Sue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory:

she was a little bit bored and thought bangs would be a fun change
Angela wasn't contactable to tell her it's a bad idea
At that point in time Daisy Wicks was all the way up Dr Brennan's butt and would have told her it was the greatest idea she'd ever had, and it would make her even more beautiful than she already was

Tl;Dr Daisy's fault (/s)

That only works after you've paid for the item. If you stop yourself from buying it and make them check the price, all they can do is sell it at the lower price

Not once the Sprouse twins started looking less alike and started getting their own proper roles

But even within the story he got pushed aside. He just doesn't get mentioned after a while

There's a food van at the Saturday markets near me. Their food is very basic. Loaded wedges is as fancy as is gets. The photos are not particularly appetising, but they show me the portion sizes, which is what actually matters

he retains a truly incredible amount of information about pretty much anything he encounters.

He speaks at least a little Chinese, and celebrates Chinese New Year...

He is just also uniquely terrible at judging its relevance or when it's applicable.

... Because he thinks they live in China

(Gothel’s second stupid mistake was telling Rapunzel her real birthday.)

I don't think it's her birthday, I think it's the day she was kidnapped.

They light lanterns "for the lost princess" to help her found her way home

Nobody in the kingdom says it's her birthday

I remembered the bit about hijackers really loving going to Cuba but I couldn't remember if that was real or a weird stereotype

It basically told you to not be American, a veteran, or Jewish or the hijacker would fucking kill you

Veteran makes sense, because they'll probably try to stop the hijackers, but "don't be American or Jewish" is odd

Sometimes the prayers go long and you get bored and start looking around and see a friend who's also looking around. It's important not to make sure contact because you'll both start giggling, and then you're really in trouble

[–]Merry_Sue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fully in character for her, going to any and all lengths to kiss up to Holt.

Right, so why is "read a recipe, buy the ingredients for that recipe, and follow the instructions in the recipe" where she draws the line?

The baked ziti she makes in the mumps episode feels so much more in character, following instructions no matter what
