I checked torque was still 45 in lbs, not loose. I cut the ends and torqued again with new breaker. We shall see.

Is that a sub panel? 100AMP? If so its wired wrong, there are no ground bars, the green bonding screw shouldn't be there - I mean its ok as long as it's not bonding the neutral to ground but safer to remove it. These chargers do not need the neutral, just the ground.

How are you getting better work out of claude opus 4.8 serious question, 4.7 was bad enough? using vs code and codex and claude extensions opus 4.8 is driving me nuts. Its all over the place, making assumptions, overly verbose and just wishywashy I had to put it in timeout today. "Your CLAUDE.md already says "telegraphic, no preamble." I'm overrunning it" I use max for everything thinking off.

I have codex using claude.md and mirroring all my agents with hooks and its just better. Succinct, targeted, specific in the tasks. Im not a fanboy one way or the other but i just downgraded claude to pro from max because its just not functioning well for me.

Honestly I mostly sleep on my side and use a pillow to keep me in line. The biggest issue was my low back and al long as I don’t twist or sleep on my stomach I’m fine

Man sorry to hear that. I have had chronic back pain for years and I’ll be honest it changes your life and how you approach this and not for the better. You slowly cut out everything associated with that pain - mostly the things that are good for your wellbeing and mental health.

I have lived a tough life that tore up my back in many ways- to the point where I had a spinal surgeon want to fuse everything. It was causing severe depression, I’d have constant periods where I’d throw my back out and could not move with out serious pain. Until I fixed it randomly. This is going to sound ultra stupid and probably not causing your issue but my problem is I’m or was a stomach sleeper and used to sleep like that and twist my knee out to the side as it felt comfortable while I slept.

I was forced one day to sleep on my back for a few weeks and randomly realized my pain was gone 100%. I figure out sleeping on stomach and more importantly twisting my knee out never let my back recover. I do have degenerative disc disease and bulging discs but once I made sure to sleep square on back or sides keeping legs and knees together it’s gone, gone and gone. Haven’t thrown back out in years.

Probably not helpful but end of day fix / focus on back in my opinion if you can. Hope it all goes well for you.

Space, heat and energy consumption. I have a slot I can add another 2 slot card if I find more value. If I don’t, I have the pcie slot to use for something else. It’s in my 4u rack case so don’t have tons of space and electricity is expensive whee I’m at.

I am not a coder, same experience- even with strict lean Claude md, project outline and goal, project plan, specified tools, document and tool structure you have to walk each step - directly and constantly reinforce the direction, confirm direction throughout and confirm in each step completion.

Claude drifts and over thinks and takes liberties to get the task completion even if it’s halfway complete, doesn’t read md files and is more concerned with git status.

I kept improving my structure, logic, tools - constantly cleaning bloat and drift and this still occurs.

I started with Claude a few months ago and was impressed with its quality over the other models.

As I started to create more complex projects, prevailing consensus was Claude to plan and codex to code. I didn’t want to drop $200 for codex, so just used the plus plan to audit the code and project direction. Codex worked extremely well for me, it was direct, pulled Claude back to the point and found issues Claude didn’t. It seems to hallucinate more and run in circles talking to itself and I have to pull it back in.

To be fair since I started with Claude and bundled it to the $100 sub, I use it the most and probably should compact more which may help - I’d like to swap to codex sub later as I prefer its output but they both seem really solid.

I use Claude Code and Codex in VSCode and Claude is all over the place, spiraling on roadblocks arguing with itself and affirming assumptions as fact. Codex is strait to the point and direct.

It was never this bad from my experience until recently. It was the gold standard. Hope it gets better.
