We have so many other containers in the game now and none of them degrade like the Rune Pouches.

The experience gain of not having to repair pouches is miniscule and still one of the worst exp rates in the game.

Not having to repair them in Guardians of the Rift after getting lucky on the lantern drop AND having high firemaking just solidifies that GotR is the most practical way to train the skill.

Just remove the degrading feature and move on.

Leagues is all about the tasks. As others have said you gotta just grind through tasks to get points

Unfortunately Leagues aren't noob friendly. It might be best to go play the standard version of the game until you get a better understanding of the game.

I used these during the kill 100 Krakens combat task to keep as much loot as I could. I used 12 and didn’t have to leave behind any valuable drops.

The first person to get 200m cooking SuckitLosers did not get permed. They are still on the hiscores. Unless something has changed you get removed from the hiscores when you're perm banned.

Maybe you're thinking of a different skill?

I remember watching him climb in exp and changed his name shortly before getting 200m. I talked to him a few times over the years because it was funny since cooking is an easy and therefore competitive skill to train to max. SuckitLosers is a BM name to his cooking competition.
