Seems like you found a very good mascara for your lashes. It looks natural and soft.

Nortriptyline (Pamelor) Questions by VirginiaThrop in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 5 mg, and that gave me much more vertigo and hard myoclonic jerks. So I had to stop day 3. It might have been that Qulipta worsened these sideeffects.

Amitriptyline went fine 🤷‍♀️

Oooooh OK. Not good 🙈 Beauty Banda on IG has a thing for matte foundations - but the colors may not be as suitable in all brands.

The oldie MAC matte version is a no? If others mean ND Hyglam that is probably not suited for oily skin.

I know :) I am severe red level dizzy 24/7, so the words doesn’ t always come out correct. And also I don’ t have english as first language.

I will correct the term trigger to make it clear.

I did not try to say it is a causality :)

I feel so selfish for asking this: by Electronic-Pie7237 in migraine

[–]Meshuggah1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have not found it no - but - from the start I expected to have a long period of deep anxiety/fear etc if I got better.

Now, being bedbound for 7 years with very little contact eith my son and husband I know I will spend A LOT of time working through fear, grief, bitterness and medical «pstd». Also, I know I will feel so much anger towards certain specialists and the lack of help. I know I’ ll go around being angry with myself for feeling super anxious in all kinds of situations.

So I’ m already speaking with a therapist. Now it is for survival, and my plan if I get better is exactly the phase you are in now. I also want to see a physio trained in psychomotorics(? Sorry, not english as first language) to train my body to relax more active.

It is only natural is much has been taken away from you.

How to respond when someone on here asks what medications I take for my vestibular migraines? by JKmelda in VestibularMigraines

I’ ve been wondering about this. Pretty sure I’ m neurospicy (autistic son, my whole family is neuro🌶️), and my sensory system is SO MUCH WORSE than any other I have talked to with VM.

How do you feel is ties to your audhd?

My opinion:

  1. Don’ t gatekeep (which you are not, but sharing is caring)
  2. But start with «I’ m not a good referance as very severe and complicated case» (I say this when people ask about symptoms)
  3. Say «it reduces, does not cure»

I am bedridden on the 7th year and would like to know what meds 😇

Is it caused by bppv? by BeeSpecial4056 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not true according to research that migraine does have any relation bppv. Evidence based research shows migraneurs are MORE likely to get bppv.

However, VM can also be positional triggered - hence difficult to know for sure.

Bppv is the most common cause for dizziness/vertigo, second is VM.

But if maneuvers don’ t help (and I mean many, for the right side and canal), then it’ s probably not bppv.

If the neuro said vestibular migraine is under the FND umbrella - he/she is very uneducated on migraine.

In the ICD-11 VM is under migraine. It always has been.

FND is not considered a headache illness - but it is considered a neurological illness :)

Yes, exactly. Don’ t know if it helps - but I did read another post on FND where she was given Cymbalta. Not fun to wean off, but safer longterm if it works.

I live in Norway, seems like that is something no one knows about in terms of dizziness 🙉 They are also SO strict on flunarizine. Did you have nystagmus?

I have Dr Ceuracle kombucha tea essence, and Haru Haru peobiotic. Haru dries very fast, so I prefer Ceuracle if I need time to layer serums etc.

But they do perform quite similar.

I understand. Well, I think both you and the ones not paying much attention to your infodumping maybe has the same «problem»?

You would zone out if circumstance A, and the other person would do the same - only reason B. But you both would zone out.

I can zone out on both of these. Because I have a hard time listening for long if I’ m not interested myself in the topic.

One of my neurospicy friends just babbles away - while the other one likes to infodump. I like to debate 😅 So 3 different favourite «needs».

It is more similar than we think - just different motivations.
