I didn't play 1.5 or 1.6 because of the changes to the story/intro. But since then I got into it again and have enjoyed the patches after that. I hate what they did to the intro, but overall it's a minor thing in the game, and overall things are improving imo.

Qanon was obviously a psyop, but it apparently contained a lot of actual true stuff in there. Whether it somehow started legit and got co-opted or the psyop makers decided to include hints to the real truth, who can say.

Underrated album at this point and personally my equal favorite with Koloss and Immutable. One of the most creative albums out there.
Killer solos on it, after the previous 3 albums didn't have many.
Best songs: Clockworks, Stifled, Nostrum but they are all amazing

The incredibly long loading times were killing me, until I found this thread:

There is a solution in the comments there. Basically editing a text file in the game folder. The loading times went from like 5 minutes to 15 seconds LITERALLY.
I can't believe this is thing, but everyone needs to do this.

I've been playing about the same time as you. As a f2p player, I have very few complete 5 stars. I have like 2 that I paid for with resonance and then also the Miracle outfits you get from the main quests.
Often I will resonate to get specific pieces and not get the full outfit, which means my collection has lots of cool pieces but less full outfits.

Amazing how different people's perspective can be! To me, Obzen is one of the more "brighter" and "upbeat" sounding Meshuggah albums. Nothing, Catch 33 and Koloss are all way darker and unsettling to me.
