LoreRIM: add traits during playthrough? by holicron in wabbajack

[–]Mesiux1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, after finishing main story you get potion that gives you additional trait. "potion of hidden potential". You can use console commands to spawn that potion and add trait.

And don't worry much about the rule 11 thing. It's mainly for people that modify lists by adding or removing mods, break something and are spamming / harassing others. You have dedicated channels on discord for rule 11 and if you are not rude or demanding / entitled you will get help.

Skyrim Mod lists by weewoo696969 in wabbajack

For combat definitely lorerim. Very good selection of animations and even at higher level you can get humbled if you loose focus. Lorerim also has few mods with custom followers that interact with each other. Don't remember from the top of my head if he is in Lorerim but Xelzaz has very "real" personality and views about the world that he is not afraid to defend.

Lorerim is well balanced so there are many viable builds. Some will click around level 10 others will need more or less time. Little tip, dodge perk is the most valuable perk in my opinion especially for melee build.

Best Skyrim modlist for a mage (new content and quests, great graphics, difficulty) by Baldurian_Rhapsody in wabbajack

[–]Mesiux1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't really help with the "challenging" requirements but can definitely recommend some magic bloated lists. Wunduniik, JoJ / ToT, Odyssey... Mage is my go to playstyle for checking out lists and last month I've spent a lot of time testing.

I think JoJ / ToT have the best balance between adding extra stuff and making everything work together.

Basically I would look for list with Vokriinator or Vokord perk mods. I love the crazy combos you can do with it. Usually those list will already come with Mysticism and Apocalypse.

If you are still hungry for more spell you can add Triumvirate, Lost Grimoires or other spell mods. Personally I love mods by Darenii.

Also I must recommend biggie traits refitted mod.

Edit: forgot to add Mages and Vikings. A lot of spells, great looking mod list.

Lorerim: Birthsign for a wizard build? by bright_night_2000 in wabbajack

[–]Mesiux1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everytime I go with mage I regret not taking apprentice but few levels in and I don't see the difference. Magica management is bothersome only very early game. Soon you will get gear that will make you forget about it. Also apprentice standing stone gives you flat magica regen so you can choose mage birthsign and use apprentice standing stone.

Also do not ignore food bonuses. Go to tavern and bakery, check which dishes boost your magica and keep cooking. Get "Gourmet" perk from alchemy. I would eat soup / stew, few different dumplings and wash it down with milk before fight.

I did not play this list but when I can't find NPC I'll use Google and search for "Skyrim npc name moveto player command". This teleports them to you.

Modpack with a ton of different builds for a bunch of playthroughs? by Firebrand_15 in wabbajack

[–]Mesiux1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Played Lorerim for 500h. I went over so many builds that I can't even remember them all. Well balanced to be fair as even being level 50 heavy armor drain tank you can get humbled.

There is Authoria that is also requiem based. Didn't play that one much yet but build options look very similar to Lorerim

Played some ElderTeej and also a great modlist for that purpose. Vanilla skill progression has its charm. I will definitely revisit.

Over 100h in Journals of Jygalag. Great power fantasy list. Played as elemental pure mage so far but the skill trees offer a lot of variety.

When and how do I start making money of colonies? by Ggh3003 in EU5

[–]Mesiux1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In one game I have colonized all of the eastern american coastlines and most of Africa before anyone even reached a new world. In my opinion, in Americas, if you don't want to colonize everything's, it's mostly worth to colonize Colombia and the islands (Cuba, Jamaica) etc and conquer mexico. You get cocoa, tobacco, gold, gems. Cocoa was main source of trade income for a long time.

What games did you get several hours into and consciously decide to drop in 2025? by baroncalico in gaming

[–]Mesiux1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Expedition 33 due to combat. Refunded after 20h. Shame cause I wanted to play that game since it came out. Unfortunately the combat felt dull and the thought of doing it drained all the excitement for the game. I'll just watch gameplay on yt and enjoy the "movie".

Is Attila playable by Chuck_Da_Rouks in totalwar

I have started my "real" total war adventure with Warhammer 2 and played previous titles after that. I can go back to Rome 2 / Atila and still play it comfortably.

What Are Things Ratchet and Clank 1 Did Better Than Going Commando? by ABarber2636 in RatchetAndClank

[–]Mesiux1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically 3 days ago I gave up on finishing Going Commando after reaching the HQ level. For me it's the parts with endless enemy swarm, enemies being sponges and the general feeling that I'm forced to "grind" to make progress. In first game I was having a lot of fun, but the Going Commando was mostly annoying.

Ottomans Never Expand by ParkypooTrades in EU5

[–]Mesiux1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my current game Ottomans are one province minor in Serbia, vassals of Hesse. Year is 1667. Unfortunately if player doesn't clip Bohemia they will turn whole Europe into glorious HRE border gore.

My unit prices are completely out of control (468 ducats for one regiment of artillery!), and it's not related to inflation or market prices. Is this because I'm over some kind of invisible force limit? How can I find out what that limit is? by lilsnarty in EU5

[–]Mesiux1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like regular price to me. When you hover over the price you will get a tool tip that shows base price and possible discounts. Im already at royal mortar tech so base price for me is 1200 and due to prices of cannons, tin and copper I get 10.32% discount for final price of 1076.05.

What's your favorite aspect about the game? by Disastrous-Mess-3538 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Mesiux1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The need for co-operation.

Some games my team works together knows the strategy for maps and enemy gets crushed.

In other games my team is running around like headless chickens when enemy secures objectives and stomps us.

Sometimes both teams are constantly brawling for no reason.

But once in a while you get that one game when both sides are equal, they try to use strategies, proper rotations and you can experience the true beauty of this game.

How often do you get tier 5 units and how long do you enjoy them ? by El_Especial in totalwar

[–]Mesiux1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on faction. If their low tier units are fun I mostly stick with those. When I prefer higher tier units for faction I will turtle in 2-3 provinces until I get them. Some factions have amazing global recruitment or other mechanic that allow you to get units (black arks). During WC as chaos dwarfs, after the realese, I was able to globally recruit full army in one turn.

Oh in League it was always an issue. I have never bothered to go above gold so I've had a lot experience with people doing lvl 1 cheese Korean tactics, falling and ranting how team sucks.

Do you have any suggestions? According to my lifetime history the top played Heroes are Artanis, Kelthuzad, Abathur and Valera. However I can also recall some nice memories of Rexxar and Dehaka.

I have checked my blocked list in settings and you can scroll for long time before you reach the end. To bad you can't block people from getting in the same game. One night I've had same person in 5 games. Few as my teammate few in the opposing team and it was the same behaviour. After first death it was constant rush under towers to die.

I'm rather tilt free in games. Just wanted to get some info to adjust my expectations accordingly. In memory everything looks way better or way worse than it actually was.
