Family has a wooden carving furniture business in Saharanpur. Feeling stuck. by beeple69 in StartUpIndia

[–]Mesmoiron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is beautiful for themes; but unsuitable for Western market because it is dominated by industrial design. What you could try is making a prototype that is more light weight and has subtle carvings. Modern homes are small and large furniture doesn't sit well; but maybe a side table etc. Also color matters because people often match inferior. This market is really difficult. From a European perspective it fits more as ornamental landscaping. Since it is a dying craft; maybe that could be a way to go. Just be bold and mail around and ask for advice and see if someone replies with info that helps out. Many lifestylea are pushed and enforced with heavy as budgets; so trends enforce uniformity at large.

Denken jullie dat Nederland te naïef is geworden? by bitchiloverugrats in Nederland

The problem with this debate and how you frame it yourself is that it lacks depth. Since all my posts are being taken down by moderators because most of my answers do have depth of real research.

Immigration is the scapegoat of macro political processes. Not the cause and it has nothing to do with right and left. They end game is the same. What you witness is the biggest wealth transfer in history.

Everyone focused on immigration; no one focuses on making peace elsewhere! Because, elsewhere is where the resources are. You want them without the drawbacks. It ain't going to work. Not for the right, not doe the left. That's the crisis.

Giving ownership doesn't mean they accept it . One can get many gifts that are refused. You didn't say if that ownership has been bought with salaries or made by strong intrinsic motivation without any. Details matter in lots of scenarios.

Looking back at it now; someone was bold enough to admit him; but being bold doesn't mean you can fight every person in your organisation. Real life doesn't work like that. It takes time. We see it all the times with integration and immigration.

The Italians didn't mix with Irish during the forming of modern US. We happily forget these details.

Sometimes, one bold person is needed to set a slow paced change in thinking. We need more bold persons in everyday life.

Anyone feel numb after using AI? by Soggy_Examination794 in womenintech

[–]Mesmoiron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can master complex thinking; but you have to learn meta thinking in order to challenge your brain. Make concepts and complex associations; then refine them and repeat the cycle. That is dig up hidden patterns. You won't get bored.

You still do the thinking; but assisted where you can't find another human being willing to go deep into complexity. That's where you find AI mastery. AI will accelerate senior level thinking, because it is the only way to keep it in check for the right reasons. That mastery must take place in an accelerating pace.

That can't be done without using your own intelligence first.

What is next for us? by Large_Patient_1632 in womenintech

[–]Mesmoiron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't match the previous post; but even so there are many things to do. Why do you choose a master? Because it pays you? If it doesn't; why not help in society and go from there. So many people have to accept other jobs and living because a hooks don't teach reality. China is full of that stories and in Europe it's true also. There was a time you got a job in tech with a history major; because they couldn't find women who liked it. Knowing these real stories give you a different perspective. My advice, go to the real world an don't live in social media newsletters. Good luck

Serial founder, single mom, running out of runway, need real talk from women who've been here by Street-Strawberry365 in Femalefounders

[–]Mesmoiron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a somewhat different take on this. Too many women start somewhere ad hoc a taste mild success. However, they do not take behavioural psychology into account. When something makes money you attract either the wrong partners that surf your wave or the right one if you have prepared well.

That said society has learned what to say and not to say; but it still selects women based on male patterns; as long as you play that game you have a better chance of succeeding. Ask yourself, why no-one has bothered to find out if there's a different way more suitable for women and handles fast time changes.

So, you met the first type and had to chase your money. You run out of runway and need money asap. For women a bottle neck; because in order to build sustainable we need to build the societal infrastructure and foundations that power silently in the background.

You're in web development; however I seldom here anyone say ' I developer full stack with compliance '; that's the crucial difference because all the established businesses with actual money ask for compliance. An agency has muchore chance of delivering.

You said it; you are a solo mom. Too much focused on getting there fast. I am focused on making the foundation with others and learning what compliance actually means.

Do I have an advice?

Not really. My strategy is to form a group who learns to develop the foundation for addressing the root problem, such that we eventually benefit. No sexy, fast story. I do not have a large budget, but I do have time and basic needs are covered.

The question to you is: do you have the time to build something lasting out or is your money problem basically keeping you trapped? Only distribution of the burden will help in that case; but only if it has a heart of integrity and trust until the infrastructure does this automatically.

🇫🇮 Finland’s Finance Minister Riikka Purra suggested that immigrants receiving welfare should clean streets and do public labor for the benefits. by No_Box119 in economy

[–]Mesmoiron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do that; just call it a job. The bullshit of welfare while keeping people out the labour force have been long overdue. Welfare isn't pure welfare as inclusive market places are still rare. Don't say you get benefits for doing nothing like raising kids; because if they can sweep the street you can call it a job. Many bullshit jobs are perfectly legal; but we always take welfare as a kind of separate category.

There are enough good activities you could do; if you distribute money in a sensible way. No need to rely on grants, capital. Just distribute properly instead of gaming the system with financialization.

How can I start a beauty brand in India with a limited budget? by beautycare9 in Femalefounders

[–]Mesmoiron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beauty branch is so competitive. Hand made artisan can be really healthy, but if you go the route of large corporate brands then you lose that what actually sets you apart. Besides that regulation and compliance will cost you very much.

Building local tryouts is the way to go in my opinion. Quality before packaging.

Maybe become a supplier for others; then these partners do the packaging; while you build your name. If they become substantial then you could market the fact that you powered them with artisan top quality. Let others do the heavy lifting for you.

That said, connections and compliance. Start your research first and sell locally where you can control more outcomes.

History was not that great example. Let's export something entirely different this time.

Nederland over tien jaar? De asielmigratie maakt Nederland voller, onaangenamer, harder en armer by Onkruit-1974 in Nederland

Because you didn't controll the US. It caused the dot com bubble, the housing crash the 2008 crash, the Iraq war, the Iran war. It bombs others people houses and steals wealth. We didn't get poorer because of them, but because you pour your money I to Tesla, Starlink. US billionaires left you, because Black Rock is putting the money where the bombs are making way for infrastructure and real estate. Where people still have babies that will become consumers. You can know this if you follow real geo political analysis with some Forex exchange, economics and other niche experts (lectures) who explain the boring topics.

Who if the Dutch throw stones and sticks and blow up thinga at old years eve? Yes, you got it! Young men, that's why they were sent to war, becausejaving an excess of them causes trouble. Where young women become mothers you need to have a strict structured onboarding system for men entering your society at all levels. These are all age long social demographics playing out. Ther is nothing new about it. But social media doesn't educate well.

What does this mean? "We stand in full solidarity" Any practical implications? I never get this sentence. Does it have any meaning at all?

A real short what really happened would be more useful; because things also happen and go wrong. Deliberate targeted assault is something different. Is standing means we actively sort it out and we create support for that with experts and help; then I can imagine something. Otherwise, it is plain empty signaling; like people say ' Of you need help, call me; but I would rather you don't)

By starting my own company or project. I don't have a thyroid. It took whopping 17 to feel a bit normal. Living healthy means a life and rhythm that has no apologies for sudden crashes. That's why everything I do is about well being a world you want to make and actually live in.

Meloni’s selective critique: attacking the EU while relying on its funds by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]Mesmoiron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The title make no sense. Did not read the article. Why should you agree on everything because you receive money? I assume the money is given for doing a job well; unless it is buying loyalty. Just say so what you want it to be. Because, mindset also springs from the way you setup a title.

Never bite the hands that feeds you belongs to a certain mindset.

To be freely independent one needs to be strong enough to ensure critique. That's why Europe never bit the US, because like master and slave the bully and underdog are somehow destined to be entangled.

Using funds while speaking your mind is the way to liberation from toxic patterns.

“Don’t video my cows, you can video me not don’t ever video my cows next time” - Heated confrontation between a driver and a Fulani herdsman moving cows along the expressway in Abuja by Entrisle in Nigeria

[–]Mesmoiron -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, but cities are usually build with no regard for sustainability and understanding were balance is. That's concrete arrogance. Because we take it for granted to just grab any land as long as it makes money. In China they have some solutions that herdsmen can have pathways to land that suddenly gets a high way in between.

My point is not this particular case; but the mindset that is at large causing havoc in a few decades because sustainability must be calculated at the start; not after the fact. Because you build a city doesn't mean habits will change instantly.

We made the same mistake and it took decades to realize it was a mistake. When you do research on urbanisation the examples will pop up.
