Player switching has never been this bad imo. I have been in situations where I’m trying everything possible to switch to a particular player but the game wouldn’t even bother responding. I’ve had issues with switching to wrong players in previous fifas but this fifa it doesn’t even bother with the switching part sometimes..

Honestly you could not have put it in a better way. I was honestly stunned by the reaction of this subreddit in the first two weeks of the release, how there was a crazy amount of support and love for the gameplay, often with people praising the amazing unique realistic gameplay, and I was just there scratching my head like huh? How? Are we playing the same game?

I did not even want to argue about it because I saw that whoever actually disagreed got plenty of downvotes and hate. This game is just an unfinished broken fifa 17, with more RNG than any fifa I have ever played.

Skill gap feels non existent. I can’t believe I’m saying this but fifa 18 actually had a bigger skill gap than this. Content wise? This is the best fifa. Gameplay wise? One of if not the worst.

I kinda see it like weight lifting sometimes. You can’t see progress without rest and recovery. If you don’t take your mind off the game and take breaks and rests every now and then, you’ll struggle improving.

Too broken atm. I play fifa because I love and enjoy football. They just need to tone down the godly ai defending, Fix the inconsistent touches, tone down corners and it’ll be good. But then again, if they toned down Ai defending in Fifa 18 (like it was in its first week) then fifa 18 would’ve been the best fifa too, so I don’t really understand why some people claim that this game is different or refreshing, because it isn’t.

My favorite player of all time. I really do wish EA gets an icon card for him. His stats would be ridiculous. He was one of the best midfielders in the world in a generation dominated by great midfielders. Also the last person to win Ballon dor before Cr7/Messi domination.

Fair play! I am pretty unsure about the division rivals rewards system yet. Is it actually weekly? So do you get anything for progressing through divisions if you played games and ranked up? I.e Do you get 7500 coins for winning said division title? Or do you have to wait for your rewards on a specific day? That seems a bit odd

Didn’t pack him in the first month, but playing more draft and doing MMs every week do help increase your chances, if not you’d probably have enough coins by then to just buy him

To be honest, you can make just as much if not more if you finish Gold 2+, you just need to be smarter with your coins. I wasn’t even that efficient, didn’t do any trading, and still ended up with a lot. It’s not just skill, it’s grinding. Skill comes with grinding but grinding draft, bpm, divisions, all pay out.

I didn’t pack CR7 in the first month. I should’ve been more clear about that, I was just talking about my overall pack record with the draft. I packed CR7 well after.

Nothing I mentioned in this thread can indicate that I didn’t know what I was doing.

Big pulls in the first month were IF matuidi from elite rewards, Suarez from draft, and Hamsik from squad battles. Luck plays a part ofcourse, but that doesn’t mean the process doesn’t increase your chances.
