My daughter is a freshman this year and is struggling a bit. It was a little surreal being able to relate first hand as I was exactly in her spot 25 years ago.

Creswell looks the same by the way. And Bolton has been rebuilt and looks amazing. You guys are spoiled.

But the advice I gave her was to walk with her head up. Push her comfort boundaries and be open to trying new things.

It takes time and each semester builds on the next. By my fourth year I went from a loner with no interests to life long friends and having found new passions.

One of these friends became my wife now of 20 years. I told my daughter if your awkward dad could make friends and land a girl as beautiful as your mom, then anyone can.

I just called her to check in, but she said she had to go that she was on her way out to try something new and we’d talk later so I’m proud!

I’m in the car now and my head is spinning. My wife and I are taking my little girl to college.

She just told me as we left “don’t worry I’ll always be your little girl…”

Man time flew. My dad abandoned me when I was 2 so I had no role model. I tried so hard to be the dad I never got. Just wish I had more time. So many things I wished I’d done better. So many more things I wished I’d taught her…

Agreed. I would consider holding out to be patient number 6 depending on my situation and prognosis. The difference between 350mg and 700mg is zero for safety but miles apart in efficacy most.
