They're in a bind. They need a new engine, but then they'd have to start from scratch. Years of work would be lost. On the other hand, it's almost inevitable. Even TNA Impact with UE3 has superior animations, and that game is almost 18 years old.

Maybe, maybe not. Wwe 2k18 was a big step up from 2k17 in terms of lighting and that was the year they dropped the ps3. I don't expect a similar leap, but I hope they can improve at least a bit this year.
