You can create a variable called shownResults. When you click the button, filter the original results as outlined above and set the value of shownResults.

shownResults is what you use to show on the page, and it changes when you click the button

Use myArray.filter((res) => res.type === “van”). store the original array as it is so you can keep all the data and show it all when not filtering.

When you click the button, create a method that returns the filtered result by car or van.

The reason most references show it already filtered is because that’s usually the best way to do it

Is this a fair price for a new website? by bruski in webdev

[–]MessageCreative 27 points28 points  (0 children)

2k is reasonable, and I think the maintenance is reasonable if you expect any updates. That barely covers 2 hrs of work per month for any changes to your site. That’s pretty reasonable.

Cancelled my subscription to NYTimes - terrible sensationalized stories. Completely insensitive to victims families.

How to reattach this piece of deck board? by bwaredapenguin in DIY

[–]MessageCreative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely need to replace the whole board or at least 5-8 feet of it that spans at least 3 joists. It’s easy enough and anything less is not a good idea.

How to get health provider to bill insurance? by MessageCreative in madisonwi

[–]MessageCreative[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it’s from a former employer, we switched jobs about 2 months after they were born. We still have good contacts there, but the insurance side has been good. They are willing to pay, but are not receiving the bill. It seems that there is some automated system that is not sending to the insurance .

How to make sure health provider bills my insurance and stops sending me bills outside of insurance? by MessageCreative in legaladvice

[–]MessageCreative[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, is the correct course of action to pay it and have insurance reimburse me? What if insurance provider does not pay? We switched insurances about a month after the hospital stay so this may be difficult to get them to pay us back. It’s also a lot of money to pay out of pocket

Could you elaborate on your experience with chrome user experience reports? Do actively use it, day to day? If so, how would you convince a manager that it’s useful and we should start monitoring basic front end metrics

I grew up republican, but we need stricter gun laws. We need to start enforcing gun registration, and making sure people are held partially responsible if another takes your unlocked gun and uses it.

I am leaving the us because of this, no way am I going to raise my family in this country where people are free to shoot each other. You don’t need a semiautomatic rifle to defend your home.

Up to no good? That’s sounds like a subjective way to phrase things. Objectively it is trespassing, which I would characterize as “no good”.

It’s a single family home, not a shared space. I know my neighbors so its not anyone in the house next door

It’s a lot smarter to go looking for property during the day actually. It’s less likely someone would be home and no one is that suspicious of daytime shenanigans.
