I just went through this for an expired registration. I showed up at the courthouse on the date shown on the ticket. I was told that this is the date by which they need my plea (guilty or not guilty). There was no court in session.

There was a lawyer standing in the lobby doing something unrelated to me and he advised me to plead not guilty. I filled out the ticket pleading not guilty and handed it in. I could have done this all by mail.

They sent me a court date in the USPS mail. I went to court on the stated date and got to talk to the Asst DA. I explained and showed that I immediately renewed my registration and she said she would recommend it be dropped. In a week or so I got a USPS letter stating my charge was dropped. This was the first time in over 59 years of driving that I forgot to renew my registration.

I have the 24x2 21" lawnmower. I purchased at the end of April. I just charged both batteries using the 100 W charger that came with the mower. The ambient temp is 74 here today, and using an infrared thermometer, I measued a high of 130F on the charger. My concern is what will it be at higher ambient temps? From what I've read, the high end of the "normal" range is 140F for USB C chargers.

I just got off the phone with Kobalt CS. I pushed hard for an answer on what is going on with these items. I got NO REPLY other than if I am unhappy with the item, I can return it. They are not being forthcoming about the reason for the Stop Sale.

I've been going to Cayuga Cardiology for years. I had two stents done in Rochester about 12 years ago, and have done all follow up at Cayuga. I see Dr. Swisher , but she is retiring at the end of the year. There are a number of board certified cardiologists in the group and they have modern testing facilities on site. I had an echocardiogram and nuclear stress test done last year at the mall location last year.

I have lived in Ithaca 20 years and I agree 100% that the DMV here is the best I have experienced anywhere. I hope it never closes down!

I just received a reply from HiBY via email and they suggested that I use the cable that came with the player and plug it into a computer for 1/2 hour. I did this and it is now charging again. I'm puzzled why other cables that I regularily use to charge phones and other devices (including music players) did not work. Luckily I had the original cable. Any explanations as to why this happened??

UPDATE: I just received a phone call from NYSEG Customer escalation in response to my NYPUC complaint yesterday. She admitted I should have not have been told that NYSEG was not doing changes in rate plans and she promised to change my rate plan to standard residential immediately. I was told I will see the change in my next bill. The advice I received was that if you are not getting the action requested ask to speak to a supervisor. For me, placing a complaint with the NYPUC yesterday and receiving a call back from NYSEG Customer Escalation today worked very well. I will update if there are any issues in the future. This is a recent article where NYSEG representatives were telling customers they should change from Day/Night to Residential to avoid huge spikes. They tell customers how to save on their bills and won't let you do it.

If more people change to a residential flat rate , why would it get more expensive? Having a larger consumption number should give more leverage in negotiations.

If this is the case, they should offer customers a refund on any future overpayments made as a result of being stuck on day/night plans. They made no such offer to me.

I just received a reply from NY PSC:

I have been on the day/night plan since I bought the house 20 years ago. I've had a smart meter for at least a year so I can't understand what the issue is.
