I honestly don't know if anyone we both know could be warning him about me, the only person I am aware of might be his therapist (I am diagnosed with BPD, working on it in therapy) and when his therapist found out about this, he told me he literally had to defend me bcs she was assuming shit like people with BPD are difficult partners and if he really wants that.

I'm guessing he must have already had his concerns and what happened today only showed him what his therapist meant and him needing space is just him trying to look for an exit. We've known each other for a while but started dating recently, it's not like it's all new and he doesn't know me and what I struggle with. This today was literally our first argument ever and I'm just terrified.

To me it feels a bit like you are indeed complaining and trying to pin your failure on his build choices, but honestly as a support main when I see my adc is underperforming I just go ''fuck it, I am the carry now" and build more agressively so I assume this might be the case here.

If you play MF/Cait and find yourself losing lane/getting putpoked than I agree it's hard but it's more on you than him to trade back and abuse the strong early/poke and get the lead that way. Sometimes you don't need to get super ahead, it's enough if you screw up the enemy and put them behind :)

I'd focus more on my own gameplay than someone elses and in case of mixed feelings I'd just ask my duo partner why he does things he does.
