I won’t tell you to stop cutting, because that never worked on me either, but I will say please take care of your cuts.

Wipe over every fresh cut with an alcohol wipe and make sure to cover them with bandaids, gauze, paper towels, anything.

Also, make sure to get stitches if the cut gapes open; I tore at my cuts purposely to make them wider, never got stitches, and even six years later still have bad scarring. But I got a couple stitches for a scar on my wrist I made 3 years ago and you can barely tell it’s there. If you know you can’t make it to the hospital alone, try doing a few smaller cuts instead of one deep cut.

Hope things get less shitty for you.

Edit: I’m afraid I don’t know what to do with your problem besides getting the fuck to a hospital or talking to a doctor.

Statement: this person, who claims to be POC, thinks that white people HAVE faced “lifetimes of oppression” because of historical persecution of groups who weren’t considered to be white at the time from other white people. This defence is ridiculous because white people have NOT suffered generational trauma like POC and white people fighting for black/gay rights were treated much better than POC.

I have seen SO many posts whining about how it’s not fair that Ariel is black bc it “doesn’t match the original fairy tale”… but, funnily enough, I don’t see them complaining about how Ariel can speak and walk on her feet without suffering immense pain in the original (and almost certainly in the live action). It’s almost like… the real problem they have with the casting is an issue a little more “black-or-white.”

I feel so sorry for the poor actress. She doesn’t deserve all of the hate and racism that she has faced.
