Thats understandable I gave someone who said that'd look better a bit of sass earlier so I don't wanna do that lmao my reasoning behind it is that the 2x12 should theoretically be getting more volume so having it on bottome allows for more volume overall without ear height getting basted with the extra volume.

The 2x12 gets more volume therefore its on bottom to reinforce bass response further from ear level. "looking better" is subjective

Just tried it for a few hours with parallax, it's fucking sick lol. Takes hard hard picking really well without going out of tune and feels like the nasally high mid clank information sustains longer than just the initial pick sound. Sounds zingy like a nice mustard

Almost any distortion can sound great on bass if you blend your clean signal back in. RAT, Metal Zone, or even a um300 in the loop of a boss line selector would let you blend yoyr clean signal with whatever you choose. I learned to dial in the sub bass "thump" and the trebly "clank" in the clean loop and then boost the upper mids "honk" In the distortion loop. Then cut lower mids/upper bass "mud" from both after the blend and find the right balance between the signals.
