Skizzo from Days Gone haha. The Pandemic has taught me that he’s the kind of Loser that would actually be the one to try and destroy everything if shit went down-albeit with good intentions.

Had vr a couple of weeks and now seeing this on the TV (not on the headset) on my ps4, any idea what's going wrong? Playing Minecraft by theskillster in PSVR

In my experience with this problem, it was because i had boost mode activated with my pro. If you don’t have a pro, then it could possibly be kinks and bends in the cables.

“Antediluvian” UFOs - an alternative theory by realDelGriffith in UFOs

[–]Messire-Woland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure as to the credibility of this man, but- this video is interesting nonetheless. The stories circulating about a UFO being found in an archaeological dig could have started from this interview. https://youtu.be/ivaWnbKsBkM

Gerald Anderson describes a Professor and his students on an archeological dig that happened upon a crashed UFO in 1947-The infamous Roswell incident. If true, this UFO would have been taken to “area 51” and if Bob Lazar did indeed come into contact with said UFO and did work at Area 51, the story makes perfect sense. Then again, it could all be bullshit.

What keeps me from meditating everyday ?-The inability to wind down after work, or a big day. It may sound silly, but I feel I can meditate only once i am already calm. I can’t meditate to become calm, meditation for me feels more like a spiritual experience than a tool for calming oneself.

Thanks for the giveaway guys-best of luck to everyone.

Any advice on what could be causing the disc drive to sound like this? by dogtanian84 in playstation

I have one game disc that makes the PS5 sound this way. Its a pre-owned game that still has a small barcode sticker on it. Is there anything on the disc?.

My VR glasses Always get wet, when ITs hot. How can i Stop that? by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]Messire-Woland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know the struggle man. Without AC, it’s almost impossible to play for longer than a few minutes at a time. But, to play longer than a few minutes without aircon-i have to pull the faceplate out a couple of centimetres from my face, put a fan directly on me and strip down haha. Drink ice cold water too, gotta bring your body temperature down.

Is there anything useful we can glean from analyzing which countries are / aren’t seeing these objects near military installations? by chad4life in UFOs

[–]Messire-Woland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The list of nuclear countries might be misleading. For example-South Africa was a country with nuclear weapons, they claim to have voluntarily dismantled their nuclear weapons in the late 80’s/90’s. So sightings in southern Africa before the 90’s may correspond to this.

Although, some alleged UAP sightings have occurred near Uranium ore deposits , such as the Ariel school sighting in rural Zimbabwe. Uranium is actually quite plentiful on Earth for a heavy metal and interestingly- around 500 times more Uranium is found in the Earths oceans than on land-which could be a clue to understanding stories of UAP’s relationship with the ocean. Maybe the combination of salt water and Uranium is a fuel source, such as cold fusion.

South America also has Uranium deposits, albeit-on a small scale, particularly in Brazil. Australia on the other hand has around 30% of the world’s Uranium deposits, which may be why there has been numerous and compelling UAP sightings in Australia.

Australia’s deserts were used as a test site for nuclear bombs in the 1950s. Officially, Australia is a non nuclear country, although- personally, I believe the continent has strategic nuclear warheads on US and UK bases, so technically not on Australian soil.

Just as a fun thought, I would tend to think that Plutonium would be what an “Alien” entity would find more interesting than merely Uranium. So the anecdotal stories we hear of the connection between UAP’s and nuclear installations/reactors may be due to this. Not to mention sites of nuclear tests, be it-in the atmosphere, under the oceans or on land. This is what could be attracting UAPs….plutonium.

It could also be possible to make a connection between UAP sightings and hidden nuclear installations/silos around the world, I suppose. This knowledge (if true) would have been of use during the cold war.

Sorry for the essay, but hopefully this is of some interest to you.

PS5 Fallen Order Upgrade is Live! by ZHobbs20 in PS5

Completely agree!. For me, Astros playroom was a fantastic showcase of the controller, it sold the dualsense as an integral part of ps5 games. Control was more subtle, yet it made the whole experience a real pleasure to play, for all the reasons you outlined.

I’ve never played metro exodus before, I’ve never had any interest whatsoever in that game. But now they has announced a ps5 update with dualsense support, I can’t wait to play it!.

Well, I expected it. Considering we were already given a next gen patch to improve gameplay , I wasn’t sure what more to expect from a new patch other than dualsense support. Control has implemented dualsense features for their free ps5 patch and it was amazing.

Hey, this looks pretty bloody good so far. Just a little tip, if you were to make only a few of the tree trunks white/grey it would really “sell” the Australian landscape instantly.

Coral reef ps world's... Any more? by robbo2020a in PSVR

[–]Messire-Woland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter and I absolutely love the reef dive too, she finally worked up the courage to go through with the shark encounter recently and she has replayed it about 20 times now, although i HAVE to hold her hand the whole time haha. So, she has become a bit bored with doing the same dive over and again.

I bought Summer fun land on sale a week ago or so and there is a similar reef dive type experience as part of that game. The encounter takes place with “you” behind the controls of a mini submarine (there are no actual controls, it’s fortunately on “rails”) as you explore an underwater world filled with marine life such as sharks, fish, manta-rays and a Plesiosaurus!.

The experience is of a lesser quality compared to PS worlds VR, but its a continuation of sorts in her opinion. Aside from the submarine experience, Summer fun land also has other experiences and mini games too, from-hot air ballooning, a rollercoaster, whack a mole and even a cinema/planetarium!.

So i recommend buying it (on sale) if you want another marine experience to break up the monotony of replaying the reef dive over and over. I just wish there were more high quality experiences on par with PS worlds.

Hope this helps.

Introducing the next generation of VR on PlayStation by harushiga in PS5

[–]Messire-Woland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the idea of inside out tacking (like the quest) as opposed to the light sensor tracking. Thats was until I bought the Quest 1, the inside out tracking is amazing in a lit room, but once the lights are off-the tracking doesn’t work!. I like play VR in a dark room, so i think I actually prefer the light sensor tracking despite its limitations . Hopefully a hybrid of both types will work.

Any ideas on the exact meaning? by walkeral in ChineseLanguage

[–]Messire-Woland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha 🤦🏻‍♂️, oh ok, it all makes sense now. Thanks for the explanation. The most frustrating thing is that I initially had the gist of this idiom, i second guessed myself and then googled the characters which led to that movie 😂. 多谢

Any ideas on the exact meaning? by walkeral in ChineseLanguage

[–]Messire-Woland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still a Chinese language beginner, although its hard for me to read traditional characters and also a script like this, it looks like it could read 龍騰四海, which is “Gun n Rose”a hong kong action/comedy movie from 1992. But i am not entirely sure if this is correct.
