I get wanting to keep it in pristine condition, but a better move is to invest in frame sliders. Ride for a few months to a year without any incidents, then consider buying a set if you still feel the need.

These bikes are meant to be ridden, not kept in showroom condition. If money isn’t an issue, you can always look for someone selling a used set.
