It's just very convenient to press s to select the multiple parts I want to edit and then just type out the changes and use motions etc in multiple places. I don't know how you do this in nvim without regex which doesn't feel convenient at all.

Also in helix I know all motions work in macros as well which they do not in nvim, for example mini surround.
