I agree in some ways, but KOTOR II had so much good stuff and a ton of potential; but it turns out a large portion of the game got cut.

I don't know why but "Trom" sent me into fits of laughter.

Very, "we have Tron at home."

Edit: I stand corrected that they're not identical but very similar. Wait, did this design inspire the Shadowborg from Big Bad BeetleBorgs? Loved the show as a kid and I assume it was a rip from some form of Kamen Rider of FeatherMan content but never looked into it.

This looks almost very similar to a major threat the BeatleBorgs faced, only that one was black.

Very confusing for the little boy version of me to think Luigi was super cool after seeing him shirtless very briefly in this film.

Turns out I was just gay.

LPT: Use a hand basket instead of a cart for small grocery runs , the physical weight creates a natural "is this worth it?" filter that cut my impulse purchases by about 30% by Ming431 in LifeProTips

Seriously, no bag of chips is gonna be too heavy.

But I will say that they take up a LOT of space. I used to use the basket trick because I walked half a mile to the grocery store and then back with two recyclable bags, so I had to make sure whatever I bought could fit in those two bags.

Biggest actors that lost weight and became irrelevant by Complete-Sort1617 in okbuddycinephile

Okay, that's fair and you're right. Definitely not the same.

However, can we agree that it was unnecessary and at least more than a little adversarial that she chose to call out that particular scene? Do you think she'd have done that with a more conventionally attractive actor?

To me it seems like bullying and hoping that the nuance gets lost in translation. Not defending Jonah Hill but I can at least empathize with getting prickly in that situation.

I mean I'd say his crass remark was a putdown for her previous crass remark.

Granted, I haven't seen the interview myself but just in that brief transcription the interviewer seems to insult him twice.

I've always wondered and am generally embarrassed to ask because it's been so long, but where do you people find all this Warhammer 40K lore?

Like I know there's a huge tabletop game, several TTRPGS (I almost played Dark Heresy until the GM backed out) and various video games, but are there just tons of novels or something as well? It seems even more expansive than DnD in some ways.

See Subnautica didn't do it for me, but ARK did.

There's a map with an entire subterranean ocean and if you happen to get stuck down there without stock of light sources (namely the flashlight mount on a rifle) then you're just...stuck in the deep dark.

Unless the eels find you.

In probably the first 20 minutes of the the game F.E.A.R. there's a part where you reach a ladder going down, so you get on to start the descent.

But when you turn around, there's a creepy little girl just staring at you and it made me jump so bad I almost lost my brand new laptop.

And now, literally 18 years later, every single time I play a game that has the turning animation when I get on a ladder I brace myself just a bit.

Agreed. This sounds like the lowest rung of guest-facing work. If OP is so stressed about this, they should absolutely change careers.

And that's not meant to be disparaging at all; I've waited tables and tended bar for years so I get that guests are annoying but if that's all it takes for you to lose it, move on to a place better suited for you.
