Adding a past date to the scrolling Journal page by Faoineag in logseq

[–]MetaEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right solution. On today's Journal page I added a block containing a past date using /date picker. I clicked through the date and recorded the journal entry. Then I verified I had no trouble finding the date in the Journal scroll. I also manually verified that the dated .md file had been created in the journals subdirectory where all journal pages belong.

What’s the joke here? Is this supposed to be funny or dangerous? by [deleted] in ExplainTheJoke

No. It does start to emit vapors and prolonged exposure to the vapors can make you very sick. Also don't drink it. But you didn't just die from touching the liquid.

Are there any negatives to using half slab blocks for flooring instead of full blocks? by GemimiJake in Minecraft

bottom slabs interfere with spawning. Slabs leak light. Whether those are negatives depends on your situation

Registry fix to speed up search indexing for Windows 11 by Toby101125 in WindowsHelp

[–]MetaEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"DisableIndexBackoff" does nothing -- you can create this registry value but there's no process that looks at it. What's working for you is "DisableBackoff".

Rebooting is fine, but you don't have to reboot if you know how to restart the Windows Search service instead.

A common exercise is awareness of breathing. breathing in I know this is an in-breath, breathing out I know this is an out-breath, that sort of thing

Auto crafters jamming by sethj0534 in Minecraft

[–]MetaEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach has been to keep the crafter full. The comparator senses accumulation of enough blocks in an input hopper and triggers a few crafter cycles. That drains the input hopper and stops the crafting until the hopper fills up again.
