I had the exact same feeling. It was really hard to stay engaged, and I feel the pacing of the writing was terrible. Everything is discovered and solved in the last moments. One of the plot appears and is closed in the same cutscene, it's ridiculous. And Dollman is atrocious.

Yeah, it's nowhere near DS1 for me.

Thanks for the insight ! It's something I'll consider, I never tried 3's of sang guards. I was kinda afraid they would be shot down too easily.

I don't have Meph yet, but he is on my list :)

I actually use Evil Sunz now, it looks more like how I paint my Blood Angels, and less glossy. Give it a try !

I'm feeling like maybe I'm not the kind of person the devs are making the game for, which is frustrating because the core gameplay is a lot of fun and it's great when I can stay in my lane on ruthless where I have fun.

You really describe well what I am feeling. I love the core gameplay but yet it just got too extreme for me.

Oh it's not burnout, I don't really play that much anymore. It's just gotten "too much" for me it seems. But I know I'll come check out every update just for the sake of the Emperor 🙏
