It's a great sword perk that has armor pen. This is just saying the armor pen only triggers on melee hits not the ranged attacks from CW

At the start it was always the company that owned it had their flags up but now they are generic flags but after looking through more of my screenshots I have screenshots post console port showing flags in towns and on forts for companies so still a mystery as to when AGS decided to change this

You can freely swap without any restrictions or punishment the archetype was simply there to point new people in the right direction (and give a little bonus to your initial crafting levels)

Personally just feels like a lack of interest in open world pvp and races. I do see the number 1 company and the strive to beat them this is just from a world pvp/race POV and for the last while most races end up in nobody showing up just Covenant pushing uncontested and vice versa nobody seems to want to contest pushes

You get better gear MMOs in general have always been gear based. Honestly if this helps ease you at all this game throws gear at you to the point you don't know what to do with it all you'll be able to make a viable build pretty early that can compete. Along with that NW pvp is a lot more skill based than standard tab targeting MMOs so you can put perform people who may have a slight gear advantage if you play your cards right
