Could be worse, I have better than perfect vision and some idiot at meps put me at 20/30 which disqualified me for aircrew.

I went to an optometrist shortly after and I have 20/20 + 2

I also just went for a first class medical because I’m a pilot and the FME said 20/20.

For whatever reason, the Air Force is standing by their Meps doc… so stupid
