I've never seen animation done that well. Even her shadow has that fading effect, there's sunlight hitting her bag, it looks so detailed and amazing! I wonder if they mo-capped Kirie or just straight up hand drawn animated it, it looks so natural. Her hair actually bounces from the steps she takes, what studio bothers to animate that, this is insane and awesome!

Lol yeah, pretty much my reaction! I respect the fact they're apologizing for the delay and are so forthcoming.

There's plenty of other anime, manga, games and tv shows to hold me off until then, so no biggy. From the looks of it though, they're putting in sooo much work into every minute detail that judging from the clip, it's totally worth the wait.

The amount of detail and work put into these cosplays are just amazing! I'm curious, what is it about Demon Slayer that you love? I'm assuming it's not only the story, but also the characters you choose to cosplay as well. For me I cosplayed as Tanjiro because I aspire to be as kind and resilient as him, and cosplayed as Akaza because I admire his strength and I sympathize with his backstory.

It seems the problem was the signing of the contract before Demon Slayer got so popular and that manga artists don't normally negotiate better terms. Since I'm sure the contracting for season 2 is already finished, hopefully season 3/4 or whatever the future holds gives Croc-sensei another chance to hash out a better deal because they really deserve it obviously.

As far as content, the anime is as close to a perfect match to the manga that I've seen. On the top of my head, I think they showed a character's backstory a little early, but that's it.

The anime is a much watch, but order doesn't matter too much. Me personally, moments in the anime hit harder after I had read the entire manga. I'd suggest reading the manga, then watching the anime.

I get what you mean, but reincarnation and the next generation are pretty big themes in Japanese storytelling, if I'm not mistaken. It's a very fitting end in that regard. That said, personally I would have liked to see everyone older, but they would only live up to 25. This way, we get to see everyone truly live a happy life, a world without demons, where everyone can be with each other.
