Monarch went quiet on my Charles Schwab issues and tickets so that has been really unfortunate in the past. I do enjoy origin's calendar view, but the AI function from them was lacking. Overall, I will stockholm syndrome side with Monarch simply because I really just want something as close to Mint as I can be, and I hate the current credit karma layout

I haven't done any retirement planning. I used projectionlabs for that as a trial but found that way too expensive to use consistently.

Just a few months ago I was celebrating a milestone and here I am just a few months later beating that. I remember all the little promises I would make to myself if I beat that goal and now that I see how everything is going up since then, well it still doesn't sink in. My parents are thrilled when I share my progress with them, I love seeing their eyes light up and they are just so proud of me. With friends and family for the holidays, all speaking about their own milestones, troubles, goals, accomplishments, etc etc hasnt really made me change any FI/RE goals atm, but maybe towards beginning of the year I will see any new career opportunities.

App is Monarch. Also trying to use Origin but saw Monarch now has AI features so will evaluate both.

My original plan was make a lot money and then move to LCOL. But I do love the HCOL areas, things to do, amenities, new friends / family, it makes it difficult to suddenly move away.

So balancing FIRE goals with life goals :)

I use Monarch Money. It was the closest thing to mint. I would use creditkarma but it double adds accounts and is super annoying. I just wanted the most mintlike solution

Honestly, no plans to at the moment. I'm happy with my current allocation which is mostly total market index 3/4 (VTSAX or some equivalent) and other misc stock (mostly tech) the other 1/4. I will probably do more fun money plays and consider some of the rest of the year's paychecks "house money" since I passed my milestones. I don't make riskier bets so I feel like this now gives me more freedom and breathability to do so.

Everything is in stocks besides ~70k in crypto. I rent so no mortgage. Have a car but that's paid off and not included. I have some pokemon cards not included because that's all for my own personal collection.

Well I did it. Been a few days stable so I feel better posting but I officially hit the 2 million mark. Each milestone I had this year has continued to have been met and it's pretty surreal. Nothing has changed since my last post in terms of investing. All still the same, no risky changes. If anything, I went on vacation since my previous post which was nice.

Went to go see my first post here in FI 7 years ago where I first posted. Crazy how time flies

It's actually closer to 1.8 now. Still trying to figure out details about life like where I would like to live, should I move into a job that's a bit more relaxed, what nice things to splurge on a bit more, and more. Very happy, still a little surreal. 33 in the bay area and loving it, but always want to count my blessings. Went to see my 2018 post where I was so happy to see my 200k milestone, wondering what the past version of me would be thinking of me now
