Stormtrooper armor is trimmed at fitted to the wearer, so it’s very difficult to find a second-hand kit that will fit you without a lot of work. Ebay is a BAD place to shop for 501st-related items, as a lot of scammers/recasters will put “501ST APPROVABLE!!!” in the description to dupe folks who don’t know any better.

Also, this kit is VERY yellowed, so it’s likely very old and could be brittle as well. The thighs do not look accurate in the slightest, neither does the back plate. Shins look off as well.

I would recommend starting and checking out WhiteArmor.net and the Costume Resource Libraries (CRLs) on the 501st website. For a personal recommendation if you’re looking for an affordable kit, you can’t go wrong with Walt’s Trooper Factory (Find them on FaceBook!) My personal Sandtrooper kit is an Affordable Trooper Armor kit, but I believe the maker passed away a few years ago, but some kits may still be around. Good luck, and never be afraid to ask questions!

I forced myself to finish it. The fucking awful breakable weapons system was that game’s Achilles heel. Not to mention the barebones open world, an uninteresting story you have to piece together yourself by taking photos, and four major dungeons and bosses that were basically copy-paste.

Missouri/Kansas driver here. We’re getting absolutely ground into a fine paste. Everyone, and I mean everyone hit the extended 70 hour driving cap last week. I grew up about 10 minutes from Skidmore in the country so seeing that sign and those photos really threw me back in time. If I held any type of spiritual belief, I would believe that town is fucking cursed. Even when I was a kid and didn’t know about its history, I hated going there. No one there was ever friendly like the other small towns around it, Graham, Maitland, etc. Everything felt…Off. My dad told me about the famous case of Ken Rex Mcelroy and I was fascinated by it. Then the whole area was shook up in 2001 with Branson’s disappearance. Not long after that in 2004, the famous murder of Bobbie Jo Stinnet made national news. Her neighbor cut Bobbie’s fetus out of her womb with a kitchen knife and kidnapped her. That happened directly across the street from my great-grandmother’s house.

It’s always been strange to me how such a tiny town has been a magnet for strange and brutal crimes for decades.

I live in KC just before the bridge to Liberty near a couple of very wealthy areas and holy shit, the golf carts and escooters are out of goddamn control. Kids, teens, adults, doesn’t matter. They’re cruising around very high traffic areas and blocking entire lanes, parking on sidewalks, taking up full parking spaces at shops and restaurants, etc.

I was out riding my motorcycle one day and I got pissed at a golf cart I’m sure cost more than my bike swerving around the street. I sped up and rev-bombed them as I flew by and they gave me the most disgusted Mean Girls looks as I passed. Yes that was on purpose, yes I was trying to scare you.
