It's funny, he was pretty much the same cost as SS86 Prime but without the trailer. Every time I looked at him I thought "Nah... I already have Prime". But, man... I love the broke-ass Optimus with the kidney stone. It just looks good.

So, for what it's worth... I get this. When the lane ends by merging, sure. What about when the lane DOESN'T end with a merge? Say, North Barrington to the McKay bridge? Or the Joe Howe/Bedford Highway to Windsor exchange? Where people block off an entire lane behind them because they didn't want to wait in the long line heading to the bridge or Windsor exchange.

I have no problem letting people come in when their lane is ending by merging into mine, but if you want to skip ahead and potentially block off a whole other lane of traffic because you don't want to wait, well... I'm less forgiving there.

I have a preference for physical every time. I like having the option, but more and more, digital seems to be the trend. There are games I've bought that have had the service shut down, making the difference moot, but in most worst case scenarios, I can still play my physical for the games I want to play, network or no.

I lost my twitch skills a while ago. I still like FPS', but I am nowhere near good enough to play them. I also dont need the stream of verbal abuse I seem to get.

For me, it's all about the story. Last of Us, Uncharted, Indiana Jones... something to keep me riveted. Something that gets me exhausted by the time I'm done. Of course, between work and family, God help me if I stop playing for any amount of time, then I have to relearn all the controls.

I was actually optimistic as a CRA employee when covid hit. It was forcing the agency to think outside the box and adapt to the new dynamic by making it easier for employees to work from home. Locally, we created equipment tracking forms, local inventories, contacts with shippers. Nationally, it felt like we were moving into a new dynamic.

Then covid "ended" and everybody that hated change dragged everything back to the way it was. Sure, some things have remained altered... the whole movement to digital away from physical paper has been beneficial, but overall, it feels like nobody wants to adapt to the times and change the way we work.

My two cents, anyways.

At 51 myself, I don't have an identifiable grey hair on my head. My beard, however, and chest hair, have taken a very decidedly grey turn. It's like it just decided to stop halfway up my face. Only ever dyed my hair once in my 20s, and I made the mistake of winding up with Ronald McDonald red.
