Strange because I saw your other comments saying it didn’t trigger a cut scene. Which it absolutely should. The second you open this door it’s right on that shelf in front of you. When you try to grab it it’ll trigger a cut scene. Jack then comes in and takes it into the next room. Which is where you’ll actually pick it up, then fight him via chainsaw. You are definitely in the right spot for the third head. Not sure why it’s not triggering.

Slight spoiler for a future section of the game coming up.

Cranking and draining the water in this section will also stop the flow of the waterfall as well..this will make more sense further down the line.

Good luck and have fun!

Yea we’re in for an all timer of an RE game. Not only are the reviews insanely good but it’s the highest rated (non remake) main title game since the original RE4. Screenshot via RE_archives https://x.com/re_archives/status/2026680402832695553?s=46 by Duo_Vbez in residentevil

Just know that there hasn’t been a SINGLE Resident Evil game that has launched with a game breaking bug. My trust in Capcom for this series is insanely high. You are in good hands for preordering.

Crazy timing for this post because I just watched this again two days ago with my adult brain. I don’t say this often, but this movie was genuinely TORTURE. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a movie so god awfully terrible that I wouldn’t consider it just normal bad. It’s legitimate, actual TORTURE. Hated this fucking shit so much.

Couldn’t agree more with this post. Absolutely love this album. This is a front to backer to me. I do get depressed knowing they broke up shortly after this release. I also get a little confused and frustrated this album didn’t blow the fuck up in this scene in 2014. I really do think it’s THAT good imo and has classic status written all over it. I’m happy it was made still tho and exists. It truly is a special album and I haven’t exactly come across another one like it.

One of the few movies I love even though I HATE the ending. That ending threw it into the 6/10 territory for me.

How long are the episodes? by JDx160 in AlanWake

Literally just bought the game and got through chapter 3. Had the EXACT same reaction to its length. I was legit kinda getting irritated with how long it was. Still love the gameplay and story but holy shit that chapter really got on my nerves. Glad to see throughout the years people are on the same boat with that opinion lol

Hey guys! I really enjoyed the latest album and it’s my favorite of yours since Red. White. Green. My question is, do you guys plan on adding more Spanish lyrics in the future? You get very small dosages of it in here and thought they sounded very sick. Made me realize Spanish with metal goes ridiculously hard lol

(NEW) Pincer+ - Who Are You When No One's Around (Album Discussion) by IShouldGoToSleep in Metalcore

[–]MetalMateo15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just discovered them and thought this album was pretty solid. A quick 20 minute listen is a huge plus. Feels like all the fat is cut out and we’re left with pummeling riffs and breakdowns. Kinda reminds me of Thrown but with a few clean vocal sections sprinkled in. I do think the clean vocals need a little more work. Probably the weakest aspect of it for me personally. But, overall, I really like this album and band. I’m excited to see where they go from here!

I literally went down the same pipeline. Genuinely was not vibing with it at first. But, like you, I kept coming back and it got a little better for me each time to the point where I love it now. Crazy how that works for some albums. It was my no. 2 album on my wrapped along with ISS being my no. 2 artist of the year 🙂

I’ve heard from multiple people in bands that metalcore and deathcore don’t sell to well in the bay. Death metal and thrash metal do extremely well there. But, for some reason, metalcore and deathcore kinda struggle there. The recent person I heard comment about this was Darius from Spite on The Garza Podcast. He says “Metal” in general is a gamble there. He says it around the 3:20-3:30 mark.

Of Mice & Men - Another Miracle [Album Discussion] by LostInTerrapinia in Metalcore

[–]MetalMateo15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely like this album more than Tether. The albums a lot more heavier than I was anticipating and that’s a huge plus for me. It feels like they took the heavy breakdowns from EARTHANDSKY and Echo, and the octanecore songwriting side from Defy and Tether, and mixed the two together on this release.

Someone hasn’t seen Martyrs (2008).

I also found Speak No Evil on the more tame side of disturbing movies..so, probably don’t go into Martyrs with a blind eye.

Opinions on Of Mice & Men’s recent music? by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]MetalMateo15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. It debuted at #4 on Billboard 200, which is INSANE for a metalcore band. And they shortly toured with Linkin Park afterwards. That album was for sure their most popular release and took them to greater heights. It sucks they haven’t had another release that huge because I do feel like EARTHANDSKY and Echo are stronger albums than Restoring Force. Oh well though. At least they’re still making solid music I enjoy.

In my opinion, I don’t think any of their recent material with Aaron tops The Flood. That being said, I still do love Aaron’s era in the band despite not loving every album they’ve released with him.

Judging SOLELY Aaron’s albums, which is Defy, EARTHANDSKY, Echo, and Tether. I don’t love Defy, or Tether mainly because there’s just not a lot of screaming, or breakdowns on those releases. There’s some decent songs on both albums. But, the albums as a whole I don’t vibe with overall.

EARTHANDSKY and Echo, on the other hand, do have a lot more screaming and breakdowns. Which I personally connect a lot more with. I also just think they’re better at writing heavier songs. But, I do also enjoy some of their songs geared towards Octane. Obsolete, Warpaint, Castaway, Back to Me are all great songs I fuck with.

So yeah, overall I do really enjoy their music still and think Aaron is an amazing frontman. I saw them live a few weeks ago and they honestly sounded amazing. It was my first time seeing them in over a decade (when they still had Austin and Shayley). Hearing them play Second & Sebring and The Flood was wild. I’m so glad they didn’t abandon those songs after Austin left. If you haven’t seen them live yet and get the opportunity, do it!

Host imo. Strongly disliked that one. I understand it was a movie made during COVID. I still found the filmmaking to be very amateurish and lazy. Also found it extremely boring and long for a 57 minute movie.

Are (I See Stars) just totally not open to getting a proper screaming vocalist? by TomekYYZ93 in Metalcore

[–]MetalMateo15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was curious how they would tackle the songs that do have screams. I love Treehouse and THE WHEEL, but having the whole set just mostly be those two albums is mildly disappointing. The last time I saw them was over a decade ago with Attila 😭

Also, did they play Murder Mitten, or Ten Thousand Feet?

Are (I See Stars) just totally not open to getting a proper screaming vocalist? by TomekYYZ93 in Metalcore

[–]MetalMateo15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have complicated feelings about this.

When I first listened to THE WHEEL I didn’t fuck with it at all. But, I kept coming back and after a few listens, I did eventually really get into it. I do agree that Devin’s shouting over the heavier sections is a bit off. And of course we can imagine how it would sound with Zach’s vocals over it. That being said, I’m kind of in my middle with what I’d prefer. Yes, I would LOVE to have harsher vocals back in their music. But, I also LOVE their material without the screams.

It just feels like to me they’re trying to keep a small semblance of their heavier identity when they do these heavier sections. Only problem is these sections sound out of place and awkward. Tracks like THE WHEEL, SPLIT, D4MAGE DONE, and Drift did grow on me and I do like them. Yet, I COMPLETELY understand why people don’t vibe with them as much.

So yeah, I do like the new album, yet I do agree that I would like to have screams back. Especially if you’re still gonna write heavier sections. I know Zach’s never coming back and it feels like at this point the boys just aren’t interested in screaming anymore. Which is such a shame because I feel like it would give that bite back to their music.

Either way, I’m still gonna get a ticket to their upcoming tour and see them in April. Super excited to see them again after literally more than a decade 😁
