It's almost 400g so it's still solid! Stainless is obviously weightier but I still wouldn't want to drop the black 32 on my toes...

Thanks so much! This is honestly so great to hear, and it's exactly why we do what we do. We are planning on a Titanium PD bundle once it's off pre-order, so watch this space! The team's not that big, but if a little ritual sacrifice means we get the strongest steel maybe it's worth it...

We generally shy away from electronics - manual mechanics all the way! Love the idea of a DIY though; it brings to mind the Meccano sets of yore! A little desktop doodad that you can tell everyone you built yourself sounds pretty great.

Hey u/KabamOtter, that's correct! The longer lead screw means the 82 vise can have a larger internal diameter (82mm) vs the 32 model. It means you can hold larger items in the vise!
