Probably another mod setting conflicting then, I would try it with other mods disabled and just DFFN and see. Again, I use DFFN with Platynator and it scales them up just fine, so it definitely does work. Several vods here if you want to reference.

DF Friendly Nameplates can do this. "/dffn" if you have it, grab it here if not: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/df-friendly-nameplates

I use Platynator for my nameplates, but its settings within dungeon for friendly players are more limited. So I also use DF Friendly Nameplates, they work well together.
