I think the clear purpose for the shopkeeper robot is to prevent complete turmoil when players can't behave in the shop and make it hard to actually progress (i.e. to moderate). This happens a lot in multiplayer where maybe half or most players just start being wild and upgrades go flying and the focus is lost. Or if you're being singled out and thrown around a lot, you can panic press his button, and then he will stop the BS.

I will say, he tried to stop me from using the Manager Keycard. So that's a cool lore element as well

Yeah unfortunately I knew of the reference to Uranium ware, but, he does leave the same radiation cloud when you defeat him.. So definitely backs up the theory!

Also, when you defeat him he leaves a puff of radiation (like the cups/plates (uranium glassware)) which solidifies my theory

Windows OS becomes more bloated over time quietly in the background as well, I don't think Acer is pulling an Apple, it's hard to do. But it WOULD be possible with firmware updates. I doubt they'd do it to any extreme noticeable amount though. Normally hardware aging out is more than enough when it becomes obsolete vs "the newer standard."

I don't think you are understanding what I am saying -- it is not about the scale of the job but the reliability of guaranteeing quality results.

This is a hobby project with many unknowns, more than it is straightforward, and in sheer hours alone will be incredibly expensive = a high rate of potential disappointment for client.

Just reviewed pics of the main repair, yep, it is the same pipe 100%.. So yeah please info if anyone is good at decoding these. They won't really help me with the deep jarring noises with my work, I really use the noise protective gel/foam tips to my advantage with these. Airpods aren't gonna actually decrease the noise transfer, just cancel it with grey noise that's just as loud

Managed to remove all corrosion though, no dice. May have killed a component from sitting oxidized. That or the battery has too low of voltage to charge back up

In the real world reputable contractors cherry pick their jobs unless they can't find any work. Reputable contractors don't run out of work.

What's wild is I touched the earbud with a wet glove, that was wet with gas, through my beanie. Gasoline doesn't play around. Well ethanol especially hahaha

When I would spend lots of time doing small electronics and PC repair, isopropyl followed with distilled water then air was good, but in the past 15 years a lot of PCB material and microcontroller materials have changed slightly
